Upon entering the humidor a sales representative approached and asked what I was looking for? She stood between me and the cigar selection and didn't appear she would allow me to browse. I mentioned the names of a couple of cigars and she walked me to the their location. I selected four sticks and she followed me out of the humidor and disappeared. I asked another sales person where the bourbon was located and she directed me to that area of the store. As soon as I walked to the bourbon area, the original sales person approached and asked me for the cigars I had selected. She informed me they would be at the register when I was ready to pay out. At the register paying out (4 cigars, bottle of bourbon, and bottle of wine my wife had selected) I informed her they might try a little harder on the customer service as I was 62 years old and had never pilfered or stolen anything. Me and 2 of my friends went to get some beer and all of us were of age. my friends chilled in the car and gave me the money to go get it. I went back to the car 2 times to ask how much i was allowed to spend and then again to see if i could go a dollar over the limit and vet 2 6 packs. I guess while I was inside, an employee had approached my friends. He asked my friends if they were 21, and not knowing the guy was an employee and that he was asking a serious question, my friends took it as a joke. so they said, "are you 21?" And just laughed. I came back out for another question, and the employee lottery stopped me dead in my tracks. And I had no clue he even spoke to my friends, i was in the store. the employee told me i had to leave because my friends were giving him trouble, being rude, and he was like ,they're probably not even 21. Stopped in to grab some essentials for the weekend when I was visiting friends and the store was very well organized; I found everything I needed easily and even walked away with some great suggestions from the staff—Woodford Reserve WAS a good choice, thanks Collin!
