Now that I have been here at least three times I can review fairly- I so wanted to give this place a 5 star but each time I just have been disappointed. The atmosphere is awesome, the store is cute and products, placement looks artsy. Many of the products in the store seem amazing and worth trying so I waited to try them again, maybe the first time they had just made a mistake. We ate here a few times, tried various items (meatball sandwich, soups, salad, tiramisu and other cookies and their coffee). Each time the quality is a-okay, sort of similar to what you’d find in a nice grocery store, not in an artsy Italian cafe. but most disappointing- for a nice cafe the food somehow always comes out smashed, every time I ask them that we are eating in they still wrap my food. Coffee comes in only paper cup regardless if you eat in. It just seems unfitting for an establishment like this to smash wrap a sandwich in foil packaging, and serve coffee in a cheap paper cup.

Caputos has been my favorite sandwich establishment for the past few years but the past few times coming to this location, I have been leaving dissatisfied. Today when I opened my sandwich I noticed it looked like somebody completely crushed the bread while cutting it or it was baked incorrectly. I took my first bite and because the bread was so dense and there was so much added sauce, the meat and cheese slipped right out. It seems like there is no quality control or the employees do not care. This is probably due to the fact that I always see new employees and the fact that mr Caputo is no longer around to oversee operations (rip). I really hope this location can improve its quality because it is the closest to my house and I greatly enjoy the atmosphere. I don’t want to see this business going downhill and I will continue to support it but I hope for this review to be taken into consideration so these things can improve.

I wasn’t expecting much from a cup of black coffee that I pumped out of a airpot, and wasn’t sure if the chocolate chip cookie would live up to the hype, but they were both delicious! This was my first time going into a Caputo’s but it definitely has a reputation for excellence that I can understand. Less of a foodie than I once was, I still maintain a strong appreciation for high quality food… the store is a cool or food lovers paradise. The deli part of the shop itself is a little confusing and chaotic to know how/where to order or pay or pick up… with no instruction or help from the cashier who probably just assumed I knew, even though I had no idea where to find said cookie… or coffee… but clearly I figured it out. I’ll be back to try some of the deli faves next time!

Not gonna lie this was not the 1st choice for supper last night but Mezza was jammed so we hopped in here. I ordered their Caputo Sandwich and Mo did their Pastrami (pic not included so shame on me). My sandwich was delicious as the bread was super fresh and the giardinera on the side helped a ton! I love the outdoor and indoor eating options along with a nice selection of cheeses, crackers, sauces, pastas and various items to make cocktails. A fountain dispenser in the back is appreciated as well! There are only a few tables inside but while we were there, a lot of take out ordered were happening. We def would come back and revisit this hip neighborhood.

CapuNo’s As my husband and I walked in we were not greeted or welcomed into the store. Instead we were ignored like a person trying to talk to you about your car’s extended warranty. I ordered THE CAPUTO which was highly disappointing. Paying $10.99 for a Subway cold cuts quality deli sandwich just is wrong in my opinion. No seasonings or standout flavors that would entice me to return. The redhead and the cashier were the silver lining in this entire storm I mean store. They both were nice, smiled, and very helpful. Ps HOT PASTRAMI was delicious I must say

Caputos is just delicious. Their sandwiches are the best Itallian deli style sandwiches I've had in valley. Never had a bad one. Most recently tried their pastrami sandwich which was bursting with flavor. The roast they use for the lir cappuccino had a nice nutty toasted flavor and hints of natural sweetness. Their store always has some nice surprises and some of the best pre packaged and imported Itallian food available in thr state. They don't do them at this location or at least I haven't seen it but their tastings are a lot of fun as well.
