This was a great Mexican restaurant! The food tasted very fresh! The place looked very clean and the service was admirable! Now to the details. The chips and salsa were great! The chips were very tasty just on their own. It tasted like they might have flavored them with Tajin? I’m not sure. But the salsa was ok. It had a Smokey flavor to it. Which normally makes it have an aftertaste when it’s like that but this didn’t! So it was pleasant. I had the Mi Buena Vida Burrito with steak, half smothered in Tomatillo and Queso. I guess it’s a fan favorite. It was great! It wasn’t the most amazing burrito I’ve ever had but it was good. Nothing really to complain about it was just good. The steak was hot and the ingredients fresh. Their cheese is actually really bomb. My wife had a taco and 2 enchiladas. She liked what she had as well and said it was good but also said the same as me, it wasn’t amazing. Just good. And the pork taco was much more like meat out of a crockpot and not so much, carnitas. Which is what she expected. Our daughter had the kids Quesadilla which was loaded with their cheese. And surprisingly my wife and I absolutely loved it haha and wanted more of that instead. All in all, it was good food! Like I said nothing to complain about it was just.. Good. I would definitely want to try something different on their menu instead of going with a fan favorite, for example their nachos look wild. Next time I guess. Give this place a try!!

We visited Mi Buena Vida on a Wednesday night and had an incredible experience. No wait, and we lucked out with a perfect corner window seat—watching the rain outside added to the ambiance in the best way. The food? Absolutely fantastic. We started with the shrimp ceviche, and the mint and cilantro dressing took it to another level—so fresh and flavorful! Our Cadillac margaritas were the perfect pairing. For mains, I had the shrimp enchiladas with their mole sauce—rich, complex, and just the right kick (though I’m a bit of a wimp with spice). My other half had the beef tacos, and wow—the portion was generous, and the flavors were spot on. One of the fun extras here is their salsa bar, a must-visit! It’s great for adding extra flavors to your meal or enhancing the complimentary chips and salsa. So many delicious options to explore. Beyond the amazing food, the service was top-notch. Our waitress was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Even though we were stuffed, we couldn’t pass up dessert. We got flan and tres leches cake to go, and they packaged it beautifully. The flan was silky smooth, with the perfect balance of flavor and a side of fresh whipped cream. The tres leches was just as incredible, with a fresh strawberry garnish that added the perfect touch. If I could give this place six stars, I would. Can’t wait to come back!

I will definitely be returning to eat at this delicious Mexican restaurant. All the dishes were very well presented Every bite pleasured my pallet. We tried every taco with every kind of meat and each, and everyone had its own unique taste. The steak fajitas were fire, We also tried the chorizo Jalapeño poppers they were phenomenal. I wasn’t too crazy about the dipping sauce. I love the fact that they had their own salsa bar inside. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable We chose to sit outside and it was a pleasant experience. The waiter was absolutely wonderful he is very knowledgeable about the food And made his unique suggestions that made our experience pleasing. This is a 10 out of 10 you won’t regret this experience!

A fabulous experience in the 15th &15th area! Parking, as expected, was on the street, but was the only downside. We had a group of 4 for dinner, and we sat on the restaurant side. We started with drinks, the Ceviche, and their take on jalapeño poppers. Both were fresh and delicious! The pepper in the poppers still had some crunch to them. Our meals were a 1/2 order of Chile relllenos, the cauliflower tacos, enchiladas with mole and tomatillo sauces, and the salmon with black mole. Everyone really enjoyed their meals! To finish, we had the sopapillas, which were fresh, and just sweet enough. A worthy expedition, no matter how far you have to drive! I highly recommend!

Finally! A good Mexican restaurant with top quality ingredients and elevated flavors. I am excited to return here. This might be my new go to when craving Mexican food. Definitely try out their salsa bar! Lots of great options. Chips and Salsa come out first while you’re thinking about what to order. Make sure to pace yourself so you have room for the main course! My husband got the Mi Buena Vida burrito. It is stacked and packed with delicious flavors. I tried one fish and one shrimp taco. Very fresh and the fresh made tortillas were heavenly. We come from California where there is a lot of great Mexican food options but haven’t found one here in Utah until now!
