Red Fuego — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

This used to be our favorite place. Would order from here almost every week. It unfortunately became incredibly unreliable. It first started with ordering on DoorDash, with the food being ready far behind the estimated ready time. Second, they’d leave stuff off the order (e.g., the green sauce). Then, they just stopped being open when they said they were. For example, I ordered from them on DoorDash. Their hours online state they open at 11am. Paid for my food, was to pick it up at 11:50. We arrived and the doors were locked. We knocked, called, etc. waited until after noon just in case they were just slow getting started. It’s honestly so frustrating and confusing. Didn't know this place was here , before i walked into Dave's hot chicken on 2100s I looked back and was like damn Peruvian food in the lake?!!?? That s crazy since Wild Peru moved .I said screw Dave's chicken lol. We Ordered the chicken Lomo and the huacainian fettucine. It was excellent sauce was close to how it was back home none of this frozen b.s. Noodles were cooked accordingly Plate was made with love and i had to have my Inka Cola like i used to have growing up in Peru not sure why the there is bad reviews coming from people who have never cooked a real meal in they're life but that's ok they can head head to boring mcds up the street lolll. I went here with a Peruvian for the first time and we were both very well pleased about how good and authentic the food was. Their main dish is the Pollo a la brasa. This was very good and juicy.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The only downside is the inside does not have a lot a decor and can feel a little sad. We were the only people inside on a a friday night at 7pm. I was scared it was not going to be good, but just was an empty night.
