Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in San Angelo

I have to use my daughters google acct because I don’t have one. But First things first, i have to say we always go to BWW as a family. Their food is great! But tonight was an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! Our waitress, was absolutely horrible. She took about 15 minutes to finally come and ask what we wanted to drink and while we were giving her our drink orders she looked at us like we were taking too long to tell her. As if she had other people to tend to that were more important. After she brought our drinks (which took another 15 mins, and all watered down) she completely “forgot” about our table. Walked right by us every single time as if we weren’t there. She finally came and took our orders and was pretty mad because she had a whole table of drinks to refill because I swear it was about 30 mins of waiting for us to come back and ask what we wanted to eat. But that wasn’t our fault she took forever! So... every time we needed a refill she forgot to bring it. She very rarely came to check on us and every time she did come, she would be completely ignoring us while we were talking to her. Seriously her head was completely turned to the side looking at the other table. And then Would turn her head back to us and say “I’m sorry what was that”. Every time she brought something she would even look at us. Straight just set the item on the table and would turn and walk off as if we didn’t need anything. This lady was terrible. I for one grew up waiting tables from the age of 14 until 28. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN A NO TIPPING PERSON! I have a family of 8 and as long as the service is good, my tips are never lower than 15 when I take my family out. On top of all that, we had a family member from out of town who has never been there come eat with us. She hated it! Worst of all... it’s pretty damn bad when I have to go to the manager and ask for extra sauce and refills because we were waiting patiently for her to come check on us. A family dinner that should have been an hour (and a halfish) of eating turned into A 3 hour dinner. Today was the first time in my life that I have left a place and left NO TIP. I’m a pretty patient person because I know everyone gets busy but the service we had tonight was beyond the worst ever in my life. I always give the benefit of the doubt because I too have been a waitress. I highly doubt they will be seeing us back for a long long time. I can’t wait for HOOTERS to...

So I hate to leave a not so good review for this place because I used to be a server at this location. But that is why I want to write this. When I worked here from 2016-2018, we had pretty good servers, a decent kitchen staff, and good managers. The past couple of times I’ve been in here have been in the past 2 months and it just isn’t pleasant now. The place looks fantastic since the remodel, but the service and the food has not been good. On the last visit about a month ago, it was a Thursday and it was not busy. We ordered a couple of beers and it took around 30 minutes for them to be delivered to the table and we were sitting at a table next to the bar, so I was able to see they were ready long before they were brought to us. Our server was nice, but not attentive and I’m not sure if she kept forgetting things or just didn’t care. During this visit we ordered the buffalo bar pizza for the first time and it was AMAZING! It was loaded up and just so good. So I had high expectations. Fast forward to this visit tonight, we went and got that bar pizza again and it was so disappointing. I have attached a picture for reference and I wish I would have taken a picture last time to show how big of a difference there was. There were certain toppings missing from it this time and it just looked sad. Our server during this visit was not mean or anything, but she seemed very uninterested and carried herself as if she did not want to be there and that’s just not cool. During this visit I watched the manager walk past many tables while texting on her phone and never once stopped to see if people were doing ok or anything. I found it very unprofessional and it’s a bad look for the company. One thing I want to seriously point out are the wings. What in the world is going on with those? They are tiny! Like, there is small and then there is tiny. I compared one to a salt shaker to show how small it was because it’s outrageous that they charge so much for these, but you get close to nothing. Also, pictures don’t accurately represent the size of the wings. One of those things you gotta go see for yourself. I hate that this place has gone downhill so much and that it’s nothing like it was when I worked there. I hope this review finds its way to the right person so some kind of change can happen because I would love to see this place succeed...

Came here for veterans day, line was long and there was no social distancing put in place. The hostess was hardly ever around, the guy taking my order at the take out station had a wretched attitude and didn't even greet me. Employees should be trained on restaurant hospitality.

UPDATE: they were alright for a good minute there and then bam the store became underwhelming again. So i came by today to claim some birthday wings and the waitress said i needed to be a rewards member. i signed up like she explained and then i asked her how i could redeem, she looked on my account and couldn't find it. i asked if i could just show her my ID to claim because i had clearly made the account already; she said no. but that she would ask about the rewards redemption issue we were dealing with. anyway we were not feeling the vibe there, the restaurant smelt gross from the moment you walk in and the stench doesn't die down quick (its like a wet dirty smell, idk). The vibe was unwelcoming and the menus were DISGUSTING, they are all stained and sticky. i had to put it down and get to hand sanitizer it really grossed me out like c'mon y'all, this is a place where people get together to have a nice meal and the menus are filthy with caked gunk?? any restaurant i have worked for, we had to wipe down menus every single day!! if this is how they leave the tables and environment for the customers to eat around/with and the employees to work with, there is no pride in this establishment and it is blatantly expressed by the conditions they allow the place to wade in. then it makes you question if there are sanitary conditions in the kitchen. i hope they straighten this place out, bdubs has always been pretty cool place when it's equipped with solid teams...
