Manager called the order number and I raised my hand. When I opened my food and said oh this is not our order. I took the order up to the counter and stated this is not what I ordered. At this point the manager became very confrontational. Began rudely and loudly yelling at me, well you opened it, over and over. I explained yes I did that's how I know it's not what I ordered. He would not stop saying yeah well you opened it so I left the food on the counter and sat back down at my table. When he delivered the new boxes of food he plopped it on the table and stood there staring at us. I asked, this is order 16 correct? The guy started being rude , angrily stating he didn't need my attitude. I explained I didn't appreciate his attitude and asked him to please move away from our table and leave us alone. He became even more abusive and confrontational. His reply was, he didn't have to step away from our table or do anything we asked for that matter. At this point my mentally handicap brother was getting upset as all he knew, we were being attacked. He then stated he was to call the cops. I recommended he did call the police but please step away from our table and leave us alone.
When I asked to speak to the manger he began to walk off and yelled across the restaurant that he was the manager. Then while dropping off food at another table he slammed ( and I do mean slammed) the chair into the table next us and gave us a dirty look.
We tried to finish our meal but before we were done eating, this guy yells across the restaurant in a derogatory demeanor, you feel better now that we ate lunch. First off I wasn't the one with the problem so I took this as hostile and him trying to agitate us. I again asked him to stop speaking to us. At this point my brother so upset we had to leave before finishing our meal. This guy just would not stop harassing us nor stop trying to create a volatile situation. Again he made the mistake not me. His behavior was unacceptable and childish.
Beware of the young dark haired manager who didn't have a name tag or I would have shared his name in this post. Very unprofessional and childish. I will never patron any chicken express in the future. No customer deserves to be verbally assaulted or threatened because the staff brought the wrong order....

We live just minutes away from this location there is no other fried chicken restaurants nearby otherwise we wouldn’t even stop there however I’m pretty positive they would likely be closed by now anyway for no business. We are certain for the number of orders we alone have placed there and come out WRONG they do doubt perform business like this with everyone that comes through there drive thru. The shame here is surely the turn around with the employees is probably high which says to me the person or persons training the new staff don’t train correctly or because the lack of professionalism and proficiency by all of the employees at this Chicken Express location is such that even a new trainee just works as little as everyone else there. Seriously if we were to stop at this location to place a order to go once a day for the month of February 26 of the orders place would be incorrect. There would be something missing or the wrong order all together. This has happened over and over and over again. This evening they really lowered the bar my husband was in the drive through line waiting 15 minutes until he reached menu where you place your order, our order was taken than he waited another 10 more minutes to get to the window once he arrived at the window he pays for the order than while sitting there another 10 minutes the girl comes to the window to advise my husband that what he had ordered and paid for 35 minutes ago was not available at that time???? “What the hell”. && This is really okay with the owners of Chicken Express. I know I’m not the first to complain about the service problems at this location, for a company that has the absolute worst service in town never does anything to make things right for their customers, all you get no matter what the case might be is (I’m sorry.) I certainly hope the owner or owners of this store location really does something to fix what is broken at that restaurant perhaps you choose and enforce that all your employees promote this...
Read morethe first part of our late night dinner snack was okay, after that, service went down hill fast. Employee was informed the Dr. P was running out, said idk under his breath and did nothing about it. Instead he had dumped the rest of the nights old sweet tea, about 30 % of a gallon. And walked by table, sat it down and walked off. Since when was old sweet tea anything like a fresh Dr. Pepper fountain drink. He them proceeded to mop the lobby and while we were still eating had the nerve to mop at our table and halfway under it. come on people,. tryin to enjoy my food... After he finished that , around 20mins til closing time, he then told us that he needed to lock up, the store was about to close in few and that we needed to make our way out. well I didn't rush out, I still had 20 mins left to eat, gather my leftovers and my boyfriend still had time to use the restroom, so I thought. I heard him say, "it's closing time, need to lock up and time to go, cause if the people driving into parking lot see ya they will want to come inside as well" about 3 times in matter of couple minutes. By then I was little angry, so I stopped eating, picked up our food to take home, and gathered it up and all our things and I went outside onto patio to wait for my boyfriend, whom wasn't out of RR yet. But as soon as he was, he went outside as well. The employee was right behind him, he wasn't even all way thru door and it was getting locked. Keep in mind, the store still had about 10 mins left. Pitch dark on the dot, 10pm. By 1015 pm the store and the parking lot was totally empty. Not one employee tobe seen... that was the worst dinner I've ever had and think it was our last dinner to eat there or even to get in drive thru. Very bad service after we had gotten food, rushed ,and didn't even or one of us wasn't they eating yet.(me). rude rude rude and very unprofessional... hope he don'take any management positions there, nor any kind of...
