The bartender was very snotty and nasty today at 2PM. She kicked myself and another individual out of the establishment (when I’ve been in there many, many times before) less than 5 seconds after we walked in while at the same time providing her extremely misinformed opinion about Texas law. She was acting with a “better than thou” attitude, was flat out rude to us in front of other customers, and gave information that was easily disproved by a simple Google search. It’s situations like these that drive away business from places like this. If you can help it, choose not to come here. There are many other places that provide much better service than this.

EDIT to respond to the equally snotty review response we just received from the business (since we can’t respond to their response) and for any potential new customers to see just how bad this business is: There were no children involved in this situation. 18 and 19 years old are legally not children, and our group was in no way snotty to anyone involved. We walked in to speak with some friends (with no intentions or attempts to buy alcohol fyi), said hello to the bartender and some of the patrons that were there just passed the door, and instead of returning a greeting, like you’d expect from a customer service representative such as a bartender, the woman rudely demanded identification stating “you have to be 21 to enter a bar in Texas” (again, not true) while presumably making the incorrect assumption that there were children. Thursday, September 12; I tried to call to get a friends car picked up, because I was told they had his keys. the lady who answered the phone was completely rude, unprofessional, and had sent my friend off with a complete stranger to take him home after this same bartender got him trashed beyond belief & didn’t give him any other option than to ride with whoever the hell wanted to take him home. When I called she berated me and told me I was stupid, and didn’t know what I was talking about, bc the person she sent him with definitely had given them back. I’m just now learning the other person was also drunk, and didn’t even give his keys back to him. Stopped in here to meet up with ppl in town for our 30th HS reunion and I was pleasantly surprised. I drank my face off rehashing the last three decades and had a $30 tab that would have easily been $100 in Austin the weekend before. Just wow. I didn't catch the name of the lady working the bar but she was on point and diligent to say the least. I didn't pick up my glass and finish a beer once without another already being there(she did ask if I wanted another).
