Where do I start for the price we paid for 5 people 2 señiors and 1 child and 2 adults 98.20 which is ok

For the $98.20 damn was this a total rip off the food was horrible, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY & TIME ALSO SAVE YOUR STOMACHS!!!!

Hawkeye waitress didn’t pick up plates she took my daughter’s plates before she was done and she would just look at me like why? I hated the fact that she didn’t ask or anything she was rude and with major attitude she would reach for my plates and also got my bag dirty with Dr Pepper which was questionable like why ? And she would take my plates quickly but with faces like she could get away with it as well not even 5mins later she gives the check and cookies

My family ignored her and tried to find food that was okay to them to eat still

Which I know she was hurrying us up because she didn’t like us or something my family didn’t do anything ?!

The food was extremely rubbery and flavorless the waitstaff tend to stare at you and watch you like a Hawk ?! It made my mom feel weird Which is alarming to say the least they give attitude because they tend to put ear to your convo ?! And make faces it’s not my fault i was talking to my mom about the food being horrible and told the lady please take away the food no good. Gave me looks cuz I didn’t eat like I can’t be forced to eat what isn’t edible or texture is extremely off. You’re better off buying from somewhere else than HERE !!!

WAITRESS & WAITSTAFF got a -1 NEEDS TO WORK ON HER ATTITUDE AND MANNERS AND THERE ATTENTION TO CUSTOMER SERVICE

(IF YOU DONT LIKE PEOPLE HOSPITALITY AND RESTAUNTS ARNT YOUR BEST CHOICE TO WORK AT !!! )

FOOD -1 NEEDS TO HAVE MORE FLAVOR AND LESS SANDY GRIT, OVER COOKED, LESS IN THE HEATED LAMP DRYNESS TO IT!!!

ATMOSPHERE 1 ITS OUTDATED NEEDS A FACELIFT ON...

I have been here a few times and have never had the type of service I got today. I was seated in a section with a total of 4 tables including myself, all of which were Latino except a table with an older white gentleman. Neither myself nor the Latino family next to me got refills within an adequate amount of time, nor did we get our tables cleared appropriately. The one, single time I was "checked on" was when the waitress came over, said absolutely nothing, delivered the check and grabbed my plates. Seriously?

I had only been up to the buffet once and was there for maybe 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Latino family had piles of dishes, no drinks in their cups and when I turn around to look for the waitress, I see her talking to another waitress by the cash register. She then walks right past all of us to go to the white gentleman to grab one napkin from his table and walk away again.

I hardly pull the race card but I can't help to think about why it is this particular waitress (Anna was her name) would disregard several tables and provide no service at all. I don't expect much at all, especially if my waitress is busy and I see that she is constantly moving around to take care of her section. But when I see you devoting your time to one gentleman and you're otherwise talking and wasting time and completely disregarding my needs as a paying customer I find that insulting. The fact that she literally said absolutely nothing to me or the family and was way less than attentive to use is offensive and I have no patience for that. Needless to say, I left no tip and if I ever return I will kindly and inconspicuously ask for another server that I trust will treat...

Wow….believe me, this is completely underwhelmed said with no joy whatsoever. Over the past Memorial Day weekend my husband and I decided to go to Asian Star and having been there before we expected a great experience and excellent food. I am sorry to report that the night we were there parts of the buffet were missing food and other offerings on the buffet looked dried out and old, some of the dishes were not labeled. For example I got what I thought were French fries but turned out to be fish sticks, could be a costly mistake if someone who was allergic to seafood or shellfish took a bite of a fish stick thinking it was French fries. I will grant you that we had arrived an hour prior to their closing time, but It’s one thing to begin breaking down in the back in an area unseen to the customer, but leaving food out to dry under a heat lamp because it near closing and you don’t want to prepare fresh that is going to have to be thrown away isn’t a good look. The absolute worst was the 2 waitresses, (I have included a picture of one of them diligently vacuuming) that came into the room and made a huge show of pulling chairs away from unoccupied tables and cleaning underneath, clearing side tables and finally running the vacuum to make sure we knew they were closing. Message delivered Asian Star, I told my husband we should leave, they were clearly letting us know they wanted to go home and the sooner we were out of the way the better. My advice is simple, normally you get good food and good service and chances are you probably will, but whatever you do be sure you plan your visit to arrive eat and be long gone before it gets near...
