I wanted to take a moment to share my recent dining experience at Blush Restaurant and express my utmost delight and satisfaction. I had the pleasure of visiting Blush Restaurant last week, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm reception from the friendly staff, who guided me to my cozy table adorned with elegant decor. Let me start by raving about Blush Restaurant's Coctosiks! The mixologist truly crafts magic behind the bar. The expertly balanced flavors of their signature cocktail collection were simply extraordinary. I found myself sipping on their innovative creations, such as the Blushing Hibiscus and the Tropical Sunset, thoroughly enjoying the burst of unique flavors in every sip. Moving on to the desserts, I can confidently say that Blush Restaurant knows how to satisfy a sweet tooth. The array of desserts available was simply drool-worthy. I couldn't help but indulge in their delectable creations such as the velvety Chocolate Lava Cake, which oozed rich chocolatey goodness, and the tantalizing Berry-Euphoria Cheesecake that had the perfect balance of sweetness. However, it's not just the cocktails and desserts that stole the show. The main courses at Blush Restaurant are a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite. The warm and tasty dishes, ranging from their mouthwatering steaks to their delectable seafood offerings, left my taste buds dancing with joy. Beyond the culinary delights, Blush Restaurant offers an atmosphere that is both aesthetically pleasing and chic. The elegant interior decor, coupled with soft ambient lighting, created a cozy and sophisticated ambiance that made my dining experience all the more enjoyable. The courteous and attentive staff added to the overall warmth and hospitality of the place. In conclusion, I highly recommend Blush Restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking to indulge in creative cocktails, satisfy your sweet tooth with divine desserts, or simply savor some warm and tasty dishes, Blush Restaurant is the place to be. I guarantee that you will leave with a smile on your face and a longing to return. Thank you for taking the time to read my email. I wanted to share this wonderful dining experience with you, as I believe everyone deserves to know about the hidden gem that is Blush Restaurant. If you have any further questions or need more information, please feel free to reach out to me.

Went for brunch with a friend. We both got the Southtown Brekky, the toast had WAY too much butter or something on both sides, the bacon appeared to be candied and it made it hard, the sausage had an odd flavor but it was pretty good, the eggs were great, and there were only a few tator tots, I wish there had been a few more because they were good. Also got the crème brûlée French toast to share and this is where things went downhill. It’s a rather large piece of bread and I think that is the problem that I read about in other reviews. It was wet, soggy, uncooked in the middle. Within 20 minutes of eating I had an upset stomach and well, I’ll spare you those details. It had the potential to be good, but it just wasn’t cooked. What sent me over the edge and prompted my review is that while waiting for my friend to use the bathroom, the hostess asked me why I thought the French toast was raw and I told her because it wasn’t cooked, she asked me if it was cold and I told her no, it was just completely wet, soggy, uncooked in the center. She told me it was meant to be that way, that it was their interpretation of a tres leches. Well, crème brûlée and tres leches are two different things and when you make French toast you use eggs to soak the bread, by not cooking it completely, you are exposing diners to raw eggs. If they were to make the slices thinner, they would be able to accomplish what they were trying to make. It should be creamy like a custard in the center, not wet. Disappointing to say the least. I moved here from Las Vegas, maybe my expectations are too high, but take it for what it’s worth, $20 for undercooked food is not reasonable. Luckily my server removed it from our check. And by the way, our server was great, very kind, not overly attentive,so we could eat and talk without constant interruptions, and the place itself is beautiful. It’s downtown so be prepared to hunt for parking and make sure you factor in the cost of paying to park.

An Outstanding Downtown Brunch Experience!

My wife and I were exploring downtown looking for a new spot to check out when we stumbled upon a lively crowd gathered outside Blush. Curiosity got the best of us, so we asked if we could be seated. Although the hostess mentioned that reservations are usually recommended, she and the team kindly made room for us on the patio—and we’re so glad they did!

From the moment we sat down, our server Taylor made our visit exceptional. She welcomed us warmly, chatted about the menu and drink options, and made several great recommendations since it was our first time there. Her energy, attentiveness, and genuine interest in our experience easily made this one of the best customer service moments we've had at any downtown restaurant. Drinks and food came out promptly, and Taylor continued to check on us with perfect timing throughout the meal.

We kicked things off with Taylor’s recommended Bloody Mary, and wow—it did not disappoint. The mix was perfectly balanced, and the rim seasoning was incredibly flavorful. They were so good, we ended up having two each!

We kicked things off with Taylor’s recommended Bloody Mary, and wow—it did not disappoint. The mix was perfectly balanced, and the rim seasoning was incredibly flavorful. They were so good, we ended up having two each!

For our meals, we went with two of Taylor’s top picks: the Japanese Omelet Omicure and the Shrimp & Octopus Frittata. The omelet was divine—soft, creamy eggs wrapped around delicious spam fried rice, all elevated by a bold hollandaise and spicy soy sauce. As someone who’s had plenty of spam and rice dishes, I can say this one hit perfection. The frittata was just as impressive, with tender shrimp and perfectly seared octopus mixed with herbs and onions in fluffy eggs. Every bite was a delight.

The entire space felt clean, vibrant, and well-organized. Staff moved with purpose, clearing and resetting tables quickly to keep things flowing smoothly. A shoutout to Manager JR, who personally thanked us on our way out. That kind of personal touch really stood out and made the experience feel even more welcoming and genuine. It’s clear the entire team—from front of house to kitchen—is committed to creating a great guest experience.

We’ve already told our friends they must visit Blush, and I can’t wait to come back (with my phone) to explore more of the menu. This place is officially in our...

This was laughably bad. This was the worst dining experience my wife or I have ever had, for a restaurant of any caliber, without question.

We went for Valentine's Day dinner. To set a baseline, that started at $100 per person, not including drinks. This gave us high expectations. There was also an optional wine pairing package for $80 per person on top of that, which my wife opted for. ($280 for you math wizzes out there)

We had reservations but were seated at the bar in the bakery instead of the dining room, and the bar top hadn't been wiped down from earlier in the day. Great.

Our server was very nice. She was working double duty as our server and the only bartender. She gave us the rundown on the courses and started us off with the amuse-bouche. This was a consomme that consisted of broth poured over green peas and crème fraiche...but the broth was cold. It was not supposed to be cold. I'd like you to take a moment to imagine cold vegetable broth poured over green peas and essentially sour cream. This was absolutely vile and completely unacceptable. We were appalled, but didn't say anything because our server was already working hard enough.

A while later, they brought out our second course (forgetting about our salads which were supposed to come next). The second course was actually decent. We reminded our server of the salads and later recieved those too. The salads were fine.

Next, a couple servers tried a few times to bring us other people's entrees. We eventually received what we had ordered (sort of). Cold beef wellington and carrots. Yum. It was clear that all of these meals had been made in advance and had been sitting out, waiting for any server to pick them up. Maybe this is typical, maybe not, but I would have at least preferred them to microwave my food first instead of just serving it cold.

After our main, we had one or two servers try to bring us other people's appetizers. We were pretty entertained by this point. Dinner and a show! What's next, maybe some more cold beef wellington?

We finished off everything with red velvet cake, which was fine. I also had a rye manhattan along the way, which was great!

During all of this, we watched a server have a meltdown in front of us (tears and all), we watched drinks sit out on the bar for up to twenty minutes before anyone came to pick them up, and we looked up the wine that they were serving and learned that they were $15-20 bottles. This was irritating, considering the wine pairing was $80 for five 3oz pours.

After taxes and the gratuity fee, we spent over $300, plus two hours of our lives that we will never get back. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable Valentines Day memory.

Thank you, Blush Restaurant & Bakery. May all of your best servers (and bartender) leave you for higher pay and better...
