To be honest, I’m sad to leave a review with this content. However, today we celebrated my wife’s birthday with family.
It was a horrible experience.
We left sad because we were excited about this restaurant. It was beyond horrible.
The waiter was extremely “snappy,” short, and seemed extremely annoyed by us from the beginning. We assumed it was just a busy night. We didn’t want him to ruin the celebratory atmosphere of the birthday dinner, so we tried to act as though everything was normal.
But it got worst. After we placed our order, our food came out in 20 min intervals one dish at a time. People in the party were finished but others were still waiting for their dish.
We asked the owner about the status of two missing dishes.
The owner gave us an ugly look and told us to ask our waiter. We tried to laugh it off because of how rude he was and how ridiculous it was, because we had not seen our waiter in 30-40 minutes.
We were all low on waters and drinks. We didn’t ask for refills because we didn’t want to bother him.
Finally when the owner brought us our dishes. He told us to clear the middle of the table - but in a very assertive and in a hurry tone - and he even forcefully tapped/ lightly pushed the hands of my cousins to have them move her hands. All this took place in a matter of seconds, he didn’t give anyone adequate time to actually clear the dishes.
We assumed the dishes were hot, however after the owner dropped the dishes in the table - the plates were room temperature and even cold. We were confused by the rush.
After another 45 minutes, no waiter nor owner came to our table. I had to get up and ask for a check. I made sure to ask in a gentle manner because I didn’t want to annoy him further.
The owner rolled his eyes and told me I needed to get with waiter. He told me to go back to the table and wait for the waiter. I looked and couldn’t find the waiter.
At this time we were just beyond confused why he hated us so much? We felt embarrassed that he hated us that much.
At the very end, we tried doing a group selfie for the party because we didn’t want to remotely even bother the waiter. As we all got together to take a picture - the waiter said “excuse me” in the most sassy way possible and walked thru the group to break up the group picture. Absolutely the WORST restaurant experience we've ever had. The managing partner and his son/ nephew Tony, were confrontational from the moment we walked in.
14 patio seating with only 3 tables occupied, and an empty bar on a Friday nite, should have been our first clue.
When we first walked in we were turned away... told: "you don't have a reservation"
We left, then looked up if there were any reservations available on Google. There was... plenty of openings. My Wife really wanted to try this place, so we made one for next available... which was immediate, then walked back in...
Reservations were wide open on a Friday nite. Nothing was reserved for the entire evening.
So we gave it a try anyway... Unfortunately, it just got worse from there.
Tony our waiter started arguing with me when he delivered our drinks about their reservation policy, then continued to yell at us from across the patio making a spectical of the situation... when he wouldn't stop with his outbursts, we got up to leave. As we Walked out, Tony continued to berate us and made an even bigger scene.
Unprofessional is an understatement!
If he wasn't family, any other establishment would have walked him out the door!
We get it... Running a restaurant is hard work. We've worked in the industry.
But clearly there is a deeper rooted frustration happening at this place.
And from what we witnessed, it starts with the managing partner.
Apparently we are not the first, or the last to deal with this "Reservations" issue. Even though we did as they demanded, and made one!
Google Reviews shows 10 - 1 star reviews regarding the way they deal with customers/reservations... this one now makes 11 to date.
We will NEVER go back!
I never write bad reviews... but based on how we were treated, and in discovering we arent the first to experience this type of behavior from the staff... my guess is this place will probably be closed with the next year!
Bottom line: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY here!

Read moreWhere do I start. We had a reservation for 4 at 8pm. We arrive and told to seat ourselves. No big deal. We do. Waitress comes over about 8-10 minutes later we get water and order wine. 2 bottles to be exact, well we got one. Not both but one, and it took 50 minutes to get our one bottle. 50 minutes!!! Moving on, we order food, at the same time! Well we got our food at 9:30pm. The bottle took 50 minutes and the food took an hour and a half. Food is cold, all of it. Missing items, and we got some one else’s one item order. I promptly go speak to the bar manager, he says I’ll take care of your order, and said they were struggling with reservation system and I apologize. Struggling with reservation system is a head scratcher to me by the way. Okay fine. Well 15 minutes later the owner comes out apologizes, another guest in our party eloquently explains what happened, again owner apologizes. and we say thank you. He said he’d comp half, we say half?? Your bar manager said he’d comp the whole ticket. Now the fun part starts. Owner goes back in tells said bar manager, bar manager comes back out frustrated and says I never said I’d comp your ticket. Okay fine, closes us out. Then another male waiter starts trying to defend what has happened starts voicing his opinion and gets confrontational. Truly unbelievable. My advice, stay away from this establishment. Bad service, cold food, bad management. All around bad....
