Read moreI had been waiting to go to this restaurant for over a year however I am a mom of two little ones and it’s hard to get a sitter. I finally was able to get a date night with my hubby and since walking in we felt bad vibes and not good service. Prior to going to the restaurant we had checked if there was a waitlist and it said there wasn’t otherwise we would’ve made one (hence me wanting to try this place for so long). Upon us getting there we walk in and there was a group of 4 in front of my husband and I they got sat fairly quickly, it’s our turn to get sat and all of a sudden the manager tells us there is no more tables the rest are reserved and we only have one chair left at the bar (we had plan to have dinner and try the food) so we got sat at the bar and asked if we can be put on the “waitlist” for the next available table. Once at the bar it took a while to get service, once we did we get ask “ are y’all ready?” Without knowing what drinks they have or seeing a menu??? Who does that? We ask for a menu and look over it and order two drinks. They were ok over priced if you ask me. While at the bar waiting for our drinks we saw two groups walk in and get sat with no reservation because my husband asked (the manager who sat us) and his excuse was they had reservations yet he asked them for how many when he sat them??? Wouldn’t you know that if they made reservations because it asks you when you make the reservation! None the less we left after finishing our drink because we did not feel welcomed with customer service and was not going to eat at the bar (I was planning to order an app/entre and dessert to try everything). I don’t plan on ever going back or giving my business to any of his restaurant chains anymore (I loved La Gloria) now I won’t be back. Thanks to the manager who ruined my experience and...
