My experience today was very upsetting, my sis and I went to buy two of their seasonal lattes which were called the "GOAT". When I pulled up it was completely dead the girl that took our order was alright at first. But than another customer showed up 5 mins later after us. She took the next customers order like so, but within 3 mins handed 2 lattes to the customer after us which was confusing because I was already waiting before that customer. I go up to the lil truck and the young girl with acne say with condescending attitude "yeah how can I help you" all I said is our lattes?...and she gives attitude an says "yeah there coming" an walks off fast. The customer that came after us had to apologize for that, which wasn't her fault. When our order was up she roughly put down our lattes instead of handing it to us like every other customer after us. Anyways I didn't mind getting my drink 2 mins later than I was suppose to its that fact that all she had to do instead of give attitude was acknowledge that we were still there waiting. I just started coming here too an thought the coffee was pretty good. But there are to many coffee trucks with good customer service to want to...

Read moreSouthbound Coffee is a cutie little trailer off the side of the highway. You’d miss it if you’d blinked too long. I’ve seen the trailer on the Corner Lot on Carle before but had always passed by it too late in the evening. This time the sun was shining, the weather was beautiful and the sun had been up only a few hours.
My first time at a coffee shop warrants ordering a cold brew as it’s a good indication of the quality of coffee used (Of course lattes are always going to be tasty). This cold brew was smooth and delicious. And for roughly $3, definitely beats the price of any coffee shop cold brew in town.
I am dying to try the dirty horchata but will have to save that for next time. If you live on the Northside, I highly recommend making a trip out and then enjoying your coffee on the Missions trail. This city has got a lot to offer and hidden gems like this make it that...
