I've been eating at this location for several years now. My visits are infrequent because the food here while decent can be inconsistent in the way its prepared. The food overall compared to Thai restaurants across the whole city is the middle. I would give the food here a 5/10.

On my most recent visit I ordered beef salad and beef pad thai. The beef salad was super salty, plenty beef but lacking jn vegetables compared to other places. The beef was also cooked well done.

On another occasion my beef salad came out dry, missing a lot of vegetables and with no lime vinegar sauce on it.

The pad thai on previous visits wasnt decent. But this trip it was nearly flavorless. Noodled clumped up, stuck together, and a small amount of meat that were in large strips.

Customer service here is usually pretty good, but tables can sometimes go overlooked for a bit, leaving you waiting for a refill on your drink.

I would recommend visiting this location on a lunch if possible, as it comes with spring rolls and soup, and the pricing is much more affordable.

My opinion of this restaurant has been going downward with each visit. I lowered my previous review score...

I'm going to leave my original review so you can see the history, but change the stars, obviously...😅 Management made me another plate to fix the original order... I'm ok with mistakes, we're all human. This time I got my chicken lol... And speaking of mistakes, I made the assumption because I didn't actually do the math on my receipt. They are not charging the additional credit card fee as I assumed... Being a business owner myself I get hounded from merchant companies that think they can entice me to switch to using their services and I won't get any credit card fees. And what they are doing is up charging customers to cover those fees... This is not the case with this restaurant. They are actually giving a discount. And I like that. Thank you again to the Mgr for his patience and help.

Old Review below

I'm just going to list my disappointment... Passing the credit card fees to their customers... Shown in pic Didn't get chicken in my order of drunken noodles, just got noodles No simple way to place my order online on Google...

Food here is mediocre. I got the pad Thai, pad see ew, fried rice, and beef salad. The pad Thai and pad see ew tasted okay. It wasn't bad at all but wasn't the best Thai food I ever ate. I think they need to focus on getting better rice noodle or switch to a different brand because the smell of the rice noodle is very smelly and the aftertaste is overpowering the dish. This could easily be fixed by switching to a different brand of rice noodle or getting fresher ones. The fried rice was actually decent but nothing to brag about.

I also got the beef salad (Thai spicy sour). This was practically inedible. I didn't try the sauce but I tried the beef and it was very salty. It also had a bad aftertaste. It's like they only seasoned it with salt and placed it on romaine lettuce and called it a day. I should've known it was gonna taste bad based on the ugly presentation and how dry the beef look. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was my honest first and last impression of this horrific place.

Worst Thai food and...

Went with someone who enjoys ordering multiple appetizers as much as I do. This particular friend tried to get me in here before, but it was in the middle of a San Antonio heat wave and their AC was out, I don't need to share the details about that, now do I? Lol. Walked in, walked out. So we went in, and actually now it's Chaba Thai and Sushi restaurant. New owners AND AC! We were both surprised and delighted. The service was prompt and our server was very kind. So the appetizers just rolled out as they were prepared, as we requested, and each time something came out we were more delighted than the last. From the soup to the egg rolls and the dumplings we were on a flavor ride that we did not want to get off! We shared a Jasmine hot tea that was perfect. The location is actually si cozy/ intimate you will forget it's in a shopping strip center. Don't hesitate taking someone special here after dark to get the full effect. Hopefully next time I'll try more than just the appetizers, but I'm not making any promises LOL.
