If no stars was an option I would’ve done that. I made sure to ask the bartender her name after my experience. The bar is great but don’t hire girls who won’t take orders because they are too busy taking shots with the men at the bar while working. Also very awkward to make it known you are letting a guy drink for free because you like him when people around you are trying to pay and get your attention for service. The fact that she made a comment about the tip too. Is that to cover your mustache man’s drinks? Very unprofessional. Sierra acted like me trying to order a drink was such a bother to her, she was just flat out rude. I have had good experiences with other bartenders but I can’t believe a bar as good as this one lets someone like that work here. Straight up...

I did a Google search for San Antonio bars with live country music and El Honky Tonk came up. It's a neighborhood bar just a little off the tourist traffic areas. So glad I went - got there around 2:00 and stayed till closing time. Patrons were great, music was perfect AND the bartender was amazing - she was super friendly and super efficient & professional!
