El Potosino Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

What can I say? It's a Mexican restaurant that serves Mexican food that's... well, okay at best. I had fried shrimp and oysters over a bed of pretty good fries & it included a slice of toasted garlicky french bread. I asked for a fish filet a la carte and that's the picture I posted. Now as far as a plate of fried seafood goes, it was actually good. (It was either that or enchiladas, maybe something different.) So I'm not trying to knock the food. As I mentioned earlier, it was good. The menu design is really good and has good shots of what most of the plates look like. I wanted to get pics of the menu itself and any other plates I could see, but... well, it got pretty distracting. Now, it's no H00ters or Tw|n P€aks by any stretch. But as surly and disinterested as the waitresses looked, them walking around in the tightest crop-tops & wife-be@ters and teeniest of shorts they could wear didn't leave much to the imagination. Yes, that's what I'm saying. I'm talking about a good ½ or more of nalgas bouncing, jiggling or just flopping up and down. (depending on who the server was) So if you decide to give them a try, don't be surprised that 98% of the customers are all dudes/pelados/guys/vatos/whatever. And when you notice any of the waitresses paying particular attention to any of them and you get the feeling like it's similar to any barrio cantína, then it'll...

Went through drive through 09-25-19, placed my order. When I paid, the girl gave me my coffee. I waited for my order. Girl comes back and asks if I needed anything else. I replied "my order?" which I had not received. She then nastily tells me, " I gave you your order, I put the receipt on top and handed it to you" I told her she did not, she then tells me "I gave it to you and you have it in your car" I told her she is more than welcome to check my vehicle and I do not appreciate her calling me a liar. She told me to pull up. I waited for my order and another girl brought it out. I stepped out of my vehicle and gave her permission to look inside since the drive thru girl did not believe me. She said, that is ok, and did not bother checking. Turns out, the guy in the truck in front of me works with my nephew, he told my nephew it was his lucky day as he received 2 orders. A mistake is understandable, but being ugly and accusing me of something she messed up is just not right. Tacos were good but I will not be returning. Could not post without checking a star. The food is good, came out pretty quickly but I can honestly say that’s the only thing I can say was good. If you plan to come here to eat for a date or just to eat with your family, save your money and go somewhere else. The waitresses wore provocative clothing(which isn’t the part I’m having an issue with, I was genuinely surprised bc I didn’t expect it), but I came here to eat with my husband and I saw my server about a total of 4 times, to come take our drink order, to come drop off our drinks, then came back to take our food order since we were ready, and then just got us refills, after that, I never saw her again and I had to ask for our ticket after waiting almost 10 minutes. Our server had no problem checking with her other tables of ALL men, but couldn’t even check on us. I guess since I wasn’t a man, we weren’t worth the time. Save your time and money, clearly getting a bunch of guys attention was more important than any other table. It’s sad that this was my first impression, I should’ve paid more attention to the bad reviews bc clearly a majority of the good ones were from men. Definitely is a restaurant...
