**Hold onto your sombreros, San Antonio, because a burger hurricane just touched down at Shake Shack Park North, and its name is the Spicy Shackmeister!** This wasn't just a meal, it was a symphony of flavor that played on my taste buds like mariachi trumpets at a fiesta. The Shackmeister, oh, the Shackmeister! Juicy, grass-fed beef, cooked to a perfect medium rare, held hostage by a fiery jalapeño shack sauce that had just the right amount of kick. It wasn't a "tear-your-eyes-out" inferno, but a slow-burning tango on the tongue, each bite building the heat while still letting the other ingredients shine. And those ingredients, a chorus of crisp lettuce, melty American cheese, and tangy ShackSauce, played their parts beautifully, harmonizing with the spicy star. But the show didn't stop there! The cheese fries, a mountain of golden goodness smothered in gooey cheese and flecked with salty bits of heaven, were like a chorus line of angels tap-dancing on my palate. Each bite was a crispy, cheesy explosion, the perfect salty counterpoint to the spicy Shackmeister. And to wash it all down? A Brooklyn Beer, a smooth, malty baritone that soothed the fire without dimming the flavors. It was the perfect mic drop at the end of a culinary masterpiece. **Shake Shack Park North, you ain't just slingin' burgers, you're slingin' culinary art!** The Shackmeister is a legend in the making, the cheese fries are a chorus I'll never forget, and the Brooklyn Beer was the standing ovation my taste buds deserved. I left satisfied, slightly sweaty (thanks, jalapeño!), and absolutely planning my next visit. **So if you're looking for a burger experience that'll have you shouting "olé!" from the first bite to the last sip, head to Shake Shack Park North and grab yourself a Spicy Shackmeister. You won't regret it. Just remember, bring your dancing shoes, because your taste buds are about to have a fiesta!** P.S. To the Shake Shack chefs, you're rockstars! Keep crankin' out those burger masterpieces, and I'll keep singing your praises (and maybe writing more raving reviews)!

Well, after spending most of the morning driving to San Antonio, then the spending the rest of the morning and the first part of the afternoon in the doctors office, we were ready for a relaxing late lunch. Just off the highway and across from North Mall, was Shake Shack, so we opted for a quick burger. This was one of the newer looking restaurants for a pretty run-down area. There was plenty of parking and a great outdoor eating area. Since it was a nice 84 degrees and cloudy with a 5 to 7 mph breeze we were pleased to be able to eat outside. The moment we stepped in the door we were pleasantly greeted by a genuinely nice lady. She didn't rush us to order and answered questions we had about the food. When were were ready, I ordered a sausage burger and my wife got the bacon Cheeseburger. At $9+ each....I originally thought that was the combo price. Nope! That's just for the burger! Well, it must be huge?!? Maybe we should split a burger? NOPE! Now I am not going to say it didn't fill me up, but I don't need too eat too much to get full either. It reminded me of an Applebee's slider! This burger was small for the price. Now the meat was delicious! No doubt about the great flavor and the roll was like a potato roll that was very fresh and moist. It was definitely a quality burger....but almost 10 bucks? I thought I was at Sea World for a second. Then to make matters worse....there was no "topping bar". Just a couple of bottles of ketchup and salt packets. The napkins were a joke too. They could clean a 5 year olds hands. We also ordered some cheese fries, but they were the crinkle cut kind and were not very tasty. They did put plenty of cheese, but that did not help. The atmosphere was ok. Not great, just ok. They did have a ping pong table and corn hole toss outside. Perfect to keep the kids occupied while mom and dad eat. The whole time I was eating....I was thinking the drive to Chicken n' Pickle might have been worth it!

We had seen Shake Shack several times because it's right across the street from Longhorn Steakhouse. My husband wanted to eat something different and for him, hamburgers are as different as it can get. I checked the menus from other places and saw SS, l knew he would like it there. The dining room is open and they have curbside, no drive thru. For the 2 of us it was close to $40. We got 2 burgers, 1 order of fries (crinkle cut and they were done right), 1 soda and for dessert, 2 rootbeer floats. My burger was more expensive, the Shack Stack has a portobello mushroom the size of the patty and the hubby got the Lockhart burger which has a link of sausage along with a patty and when you ask for a soda refill you will get a brand new cup. We liked it and the gentleman that was working curbside Monday night around 8:00 was so helpful. He gave us a sample of their seasonal lemonade (pomegranate & blood orange) which to us, delicious to others might be too tart. We will go back because we want to try the purple cow float and dreamcicle float.

I went to the Shake Shake the other night intending on just grabbing a fast food burger not knowing exactly what it was going to be like. Well it was a tad more expensive than say your typical fast food burger but completely worth it! Though I would never mind a discount if anyone knows if coupons please let me know! First off I was having a rough weekend and I hadn’t eaten enough all week and it had been over 24 hours or more since I ate and I was having a bit of a sugar low and foggy brain by the time I went in and ordered. The cashier was just super nice and helpful and it was so appreciated at that moment, so shout out to, hope I get his name right the manager wrote it down for me, Jacron! He was my hero for the day! I was going to take it to go but the atmosphere was so comfortable and it was not crowed so I sat and watched one of the big screen TVs. It was nearing closing time but everyone was friendly and did not make me feel rushed or unwelcome, though I hurried up to be courteous in return for their awesome job! The manager Greg was running the place like a pro and made sure I was happy with my order and having a nice night. Now on to the food, which I swear I am going to start taking pictures! But guys seriously I forget because I get to hungry and can’t wait to eat when my food comes. Besides it almost feels like playing with your food to get the right shot! I’m like food here, me hungry, me eat! Me tell how good it was or by then I can write complete sentences and be coherent again. The burger was amazing with flavorful juice not over drippy watery or greasy juice. Flavor was a nice balance of spices not too salty or peppery yet it allowed for the meat to come through just the perfect amount. The fries were hot!!!!! My number 1 requirement for fries. Second must is they can not be under cooked, I would rather have them a bit over cooked than under cooked. This last must shouldn’t even have to be said but never should a fry be retried to pass off as just cooked, and of course these weren’t. This is just one of my personal preferences but I don’t like coated fries and normally only like salt except at one place. So to sum up these fries hit all the right requirements and were promptly put away, in my happy belly! Well I hope you all have just as great of an experience as I have had at Shake Shack! Stay safe and eat...

I ordered for curbside pickup. When I got there I noticed someone was parked in curbside and not in their vehicle. Shortly after they emerge from the building with their food and got in their car. I was like hmm maybe they ordered pickup. Also when I got there shortly after or around same time another car arrived as well for curbside. So we both sat and waited for our food that never came. She looked upset and went had a small baby she had to get out the car to get her food. Me I’m 5 months pregnant and just didn’t feel like going inside I am a drive thru queen. So she was mad and I overheard the employees talking about it when I went to get my food shortly behind her. Because the message said if food not delivered in 12 minutes to come inside. I was like please just come food. But it did. So what a surprise when I go inside and she was “just about to bring my food out to me” so I was like ok surely this is hot and fresh. WRONG! It was cold. The burger and fries! This meal for just me was like idk $20 or so and it’s cold? For a burger and cheese fries and a drink? I can go to somewhere else and get cold food for cheaper. I don’t know what it is about this area but a lot of these food places have bottom of the barrel people with no passion or care working for them serving nasty food. I love food. Id love to serve people food they enjoy and come back for again and again but a lot don’t think this way. I meant to call and complain cause I was pissed my food was cold. I was hot and hungry and didn’t want to complain then and wait for a remake. I was feeling ill and just wanted to eat something. But yea this place wasn’t even busy but it seems like if you order curbside they aren’t bringing it out and just letting your food sit and get cold until you go inside and get it and I don’t appreciate that. The food had potential but it was cold so it was nasty. And I realized All three of the people that ordered curbside like me had to go inside.85 wasn’t just me two other people also had to go inside so that lets me know whoever was running the food that day just didn’t want to do it. I think that’s foul to serve people cold food especially at the prices this place...
