DO NOT EAT HERE...VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!! I am very disappointed in El Pollo Loco management at the San Antonio Texas franchise on San Pedro Ave. I ordered an online order of the 16 piece chicken meal mixed. I also ordered the new shredded beef Quesadilla. When it was delivered I noticed I did not receive the quesadilla and non of the sauces I had requested which makes the entire meal so much tastier in my opinion. I called several times before anyone answered. I understood that it could be busy so I was very patient. A male answered the phone and I politely explained that I orded online and my order was missing some items. Before I could even finish my sentence he just handed over the phone to which I believe was the manager, a woman. The tone in her voice was not very pleasant. I started off with giving her my name and I recently ordered an online order. She cut me off saying oh yea well I made your order and what are you saying your missing again because I’m sure I out everything you ordered in the bag. Her tone was very offensive. I said I am missing the shredded beef quesadilla and all of the sauces. She replies “well the sauces are free soooo that’s that and I dont see a shredded beef quesadilla on your receipt, oh well Yea I do see it now. Then I asked if it can be re delivered ( I’m not knowing they don’t handle the deliveries on that end). She gets very rude and tells me “No I dont know nothing about any deliveries we don’t do deliveries so I dont know what to tell you at this point.” I then asked if she could offer me a promotion code. She gets even more rude by cutting me off saying PROMOTION? WHAT’S THAT? I’M NOT GIVING YOU A PROMOTION. I then said it’s a credit that I can use online for the app that I use through you guys. And she says NO with a silent pause. I asked what time they closed and she said 11 and I stated that if I give her my husband’s name could he then pick it up? And I also asked for her name. That’s when she went off and says WELL I WAS GONNA SUGGEST THAT AT THE BEGINNING BUT YOU STARTED ASIING FOR A CODE WHICH I CAN’T GIVE YOU and hangs up the phone in my face. I call back and she answers and I tell her that she is now being recorded. She tells me that she is not ignorant and doesn’t care that in recording her and that she doesn’t care that she will be reported to corporate and that she’s back en doing her job for a long time now and she hangs up on my face again. I tried calling back twice and no answer. I really hope someone reaches out to me about this matter as I do have the second phone call recording and would like to be reimbursed and this matter...
Read more$12. I went to the drive through. This was my first time at any El Pollo Loco. I ordered the 2 piece meal leg & thigh meal with macaroni n cheese and coleslaw. The meal does not come with a drink. 2. When I got up to the window I was told we're out of Diet Coke. I should have been told that when I ordered. Keep up with your inventory. At 2 o'clock on Wednesday MANAGEMENT if you are out of Diet Coke you are not doing your job. Train your employees to notice thus AND believe them and act on it when they tell you it is low. AND inform shift changes of such information. ome on get it together. 3. I drive off and I go eat my food the chicken was excellent, very tasty. I'm sure it has way too much sodium. The macaroni cheese was okay, I ate all of it but i won't order it again. Then I open the other container to eat the coleslaw that I really wanted and it was mashed potatoes. MASHED POTATOES & COLE SLAW sound nothing alike - not evn through the drive thru microphone. This is why I gave service a low rating but the individual person that took care of me was great. He was very nice, very friendly, very helpful - but my order was wrong! There's no way that you heard coleslaw. Plus doesn't that have to be entered in the computer so whoever's actually putting the food together should see on the screen COLESLAW. Is my life over? NO! It's just annoying when my mind and tongue were ready for coleslaw. Ever since COVID prices have quadrupled everywhere you go. But my paycheck didn't quadruple. But still unfortunate that I was able to go buy myself a light lunch instead of going home and cooking. But I don't care if they're very fancy restaurants or drive thrus everybody's prices are way too high now and I'm gonna expect my order to be correct everywhere I go be it El Pollo Loco, Taco Bell or a steak restaurant. Management's fault because it is their job to know what is go on. Yes that is difficult to do that's why managers get paid more money. Employees, if you don't want to be micro managed or lose your job then get your act together and do your job correctly. Respect yourself by working responsibly. You are fortunate to have a job don't look at it as a menial job be proud that you're r employed. Read moreI went there for dinner it was a 30 minute wait through the drive-thru came home only to find that my order was not done correctly I asked for breast and legs they gave me all thighs and legs beans tasted spoiled try to call there was no answer I went back and ask to speak to a manager waited a person came to the window saying they were the manager but yet when I said I wanted to refund he said he could not do that because he wasn't the manager they were all Hispanics that did not speak very well English when I asked for his name he disappeared and never came back to the window somebody got me the management on the phone I told him I wanted a refund and he said I would have to go to corporate office I said that didn't make no sense and it made no sense that there was no management present and that he should not have all these young boys running a business who did not know how to speak English I also told them that they seemed very fearful that I was going to call immigrations on them he was not much of a manager cuz he never even made a response or comment I then called corporate office with my concerns and ask for my refund they never responded never got my money back it's been well over 2 months I would not recommend anybody eating at this restaurant for any reason I also witnessed them dropping tortillas on the floor putting them in aluminum foil and serving them to customers sorry I forgot the most important thing the chicken...
