Visited Longhorn Cafe on Father's day. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. ordered 2 top shelves Margs, made by the same bartender, not very welcoming, but I overlooked it. Noticed 3 gnats in my mixing vessel, alerted the waiter. He noticed them immediately and retrieved the container. The manager approaches the table, and his response (Victor), I was told to come over here, you don't have any food yet so what's the issue?? I explained the issue and the waiter confirmed, he explained that they weren't gnats the were DRAGON FRUIT SEEDS. WTH!! I'm extremely allergic to dragon fruit, so I questioned about cross contamination. He said the glass wasn't clean adequately. What?! His responses just kept getting worse. So, I extracted one of the gnats from the glass to confirm prior to even showing the waiter, but I guess management thought I was stupid. He offered to remake the drinks. We moved on with our night, the food was then distributed to the table, the food initially looked good, but after a few bites I noticed small beard/mustache like hair in my mash potatoes and my daughter's had long STRINGS of hair in her macaroni!!! Victor (manager) was alerted, he offered to remake the meal. Are you kidding me??! After bugs in the drinks and hair in our meals....our appetites were lost and thoroughly disgusted. Victor offered 20% off of a meal we could not even think of finishing! Our bill after the 20% was still 100+. We literally WASTED our money. This establishment has quality issues. Never have I seen these types of issues in one sitting across the entire table. Appalling, but I think the lack of concern by management was most alarming. The bar manager tried to rectify the disappointment, but that could never make up for the gnat infestation at the bar (around the unvovered lemon and oranges) nor could it make up for the lack of waiters and waitress not wearing any type of hair nets when handling food, Most don't, but when you rest the platter on your shoulder prior to serving and your hair is dangling on the platter, thats an issue...an obvious one. But, when you have hair embedded in the food, that tells me the back kitchen is not compliant and management is not enforcing it. See photos below. BEWARE! Its the not so obvious issues that make you sick, and its the lack of concern of management to allow these situations to occur.

I'm still on the fence with this place. I went with my bf. here and before then a friend. The first time I went for lunch, it was awesome! I've had they're chicken sandwich, which was amazing and some awesome homemade chips with a cheese sauce and a great salad. Plus, their strawberry shortcake is amazing!!!!! 😋The second time I went, I wanted to try their steak or meat, like a hamburger. Well my friend tried the steak and I didn't particularly care for it. It was charred, and even for charred, it wasn't good. The baked potato was great though! So, I went with chicken again, since their last time I loved their chicken. Well, the only thing close to what I had were the chicken platter with gravy. Omg. The plate was lukewarm. If you're going to call yourself a steakhouse, don't nuke your food! The mashed potatoes were ok. The gravy was horrible. If you're in Texas, you have to get yourself a better gravy- please! It's a a staple here... The worst part, I found a piece of plastic on my breaded chicken! Lol! I was on a date! Not the best experience to say the least. Not the best food.... Disappointed. The only thing I really liked was my fried okra. It was a total day and night comparison. My lunch experience was way better, which doesn't make any sense! You'd think they'd stay consistent. IDK. It's very strange for a steakhouse to not have main entrees that are actually good in Texas! I'm hoping that this was just the cooks doing a horrible job that night. Plus our food got there incredibly fast and our server's response was that, "They just wanted to go home." I guess I'll just stick going there for lunch, when their best cooks are there??!!! At lunch, they have better food options that are better than night , which makes no sense. Maybe it's just the location? IDK. But they better step up their game on the night shift.... !

My friend and I met here for a late lunch. The chicken bites were absolutely amazing, and the reason for such a high rating. Everything else was disappointing. The tea was, and it HAS to be bad for me to say, entirely too sweet. The hint of tea you could actually taste was stale. The salad was a salad. Pretty basic. The mashed potatoes were pretty decent. My steak. My STEAK. You come to a STEAKHOUSE with certain expectations. Mine was, as they have been the times I have been here in the past, fairly high. I asked for medium. My friend asked for medium well. As you can see by the pic, it's just under WELL DONE. Both our steaks were like this. I knew as soon as she set the plate down that it was wrong. I cut the steak down the middle and confirmed my thoughts. I left it parted on my plate like this for the waitress to see. Of course, she avoided us for 20 minutes. By the time she came over to check on us, my appetite was gone. Her response: "oh, you should have told me!" YOU NEVER CAME BY TO CHECK ON US!!! Thankfully, this "meal" didn't ruin our 4 year friendaversary, but it was a sad way to kick it off. Thanks a lot, Longhorn Steakhouse.

First off I would like to start by saying I would give it a zero rating if I could. I took my girlfriend and her mother out to this location the day before mother's day. We are regular customers at the stone oak location and eat a longhorn very often and enjoy it, but after visiting this location I will no longer go to any longhorn unfortunately. The service was the worst I've personally ever experienced in all my dining experiences I've ever had. We started off ordering three long pour margaritas that took at least 15 to 20 min to arrive which I understand it's very busy but they arrived with no ice and were definitely not the normal size long pour. I was understanding and just asked for a cup of ice and was willing to drink the undersized margarita but the server took at least 5 min to bring a cup of ice for our margaritas. So we just drank the margs with ice that was given to us in the shakers. We ordered chicken bites as our appetizer before we ordered our food because we wanted get them in time before the food arrived but the app took so long to come out I decided to just order the food. 20 min go by the server finally stops by the table but not with the appetizer we had ordered at least 30 min prior. The server had stop by to ask what entree my girlfriend's mom had order. I work in the industry so I was still trying to be patient and understanding so we gave the order again and asked him if he put in the app. The server said he did and would go check the magically came out right after he went to go check and were stone cold. It was obvious they were left on the window and forgotten about but stilled served to us. I sent the app back and just canceled it. 25 min go by still no food so I finally had to ask for a manager. The manager came by with our and I explained the situation and everything that had happened and to my shock he proceeded to argue with me when the server put in the food. The manager told me "I'm gonna let y'all enjoy y'all's food". What kind of manager is that. I understand server mistakes but I cannot understand a manager not doing his job and making it right not once did a manager ever come by and check on us throughout our meal until we asked to see one which is not good management staff would allow. I don't remember the managers name exactly because I had to ask the server because he didn't even give me his name I think his name was Kaylen or Kayden I can't remember but he should not be in the service industry, and especially not a managers. It's a shame I feel like I was robbed here paying full price for this joke of a dining experience. Although, I love the location in stone oak and enjoy most of my experiences. My experience at this location has soured my taste for longhorns name entirely I seriously suggest taking your business...

The only reason I'm posting this is bc it was an embarrassment to my family. We eat at this location often and never have an any issues. A member of our party ordered the Longhorn Steak which is a bone in ribeye. There happened to no a huge piece of grissel in the middle of it making it almost inedible. He takes it to the front and explains what was wrong and if they could fire up another one. Now he had only taken two bites before running into the grissel. The manager Francisco brings the plate back to the table and loudly starts asking what his problem was. We were there with our two young daughters and everything else was beautiful. So here stood up and asked the manager to please not be so public and go talk somewhere else. The manager had already called sapd to handle another situation with an older woman who was alone and standing in the front with her to go order. Since the cops were there, the manager proceeded to complain that my family member was being rude. We all went to to the front when they asked us to leave. Wtf?? Like I said, we go there often and I don't know who this manager was, maybe he was new?? Do they not teach customer service in a management position anymore? I was floored. I've worked in food service for many years and I know the customer isn't always right, it's how you handle the situation. Again the other plates were perfect, no issues at all. I guess so I can say is sorry to out server, who was outstanding, but also thank you for the free meal???? Horrible.... We tipped the bartender very well and intended to do so with our server, however we're asked to leave right then and there with the cops waiting. Will maybe try another location, but that one, not until they get rid of that manager. We even asked our server and bartender if we were being rude in any way and both said "no". Too bad, guess we have to find another restaurant to have a...
