I ordered the enchilada plate with chicken and green salsa and they were the best enchiladas I have had at a restaurant. I usually don't like ordering enchiladas at a restaurant because they are usually always bland in flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was grilled and not boiled or roasted, so it was really juicy and not dry. The salsa had so much flavor. Also the additional salsas you get with your meal were all so good. I loved them all. The refried beans with the queso fresco were also very well done. The chef and our waitress were both very attentive and very sweet. I also loved the playlist they have playing while you dine. It is completely different from most of the restaurants I have been to here in SA, ,but it is definitely a good kind of different. I will highly recommend to anyone wanting to have something different and more authentic to come try Sonterrey. Please come and support this...

My husband and I recently visited Sonterrey Mexican Restaurant, and it was such a great experience from start to finish! I ordered the chilaquiles plate, and my husband had the machacado plate — both were absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. You can really tell the food is made with care and tradition.

The service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The owner personally checked on our table, and you can see how proud he is of the food and his restaurant. It’s rare to find a place where the quality, hospitality, and passion all shine through like this.

I just finished eating here and let me tell YOU this place is amazing. I got beef fajita tacos and my dad got bacon/egg and chorizo/egg tacos. My dad loved the bacon and egg taco because this has been one of the first places that cooked the bacon with the eggs. Everything else on the menu seemed delicious and I can't wait to come back. The restaurant itself feels cozy and welcoming, getting a view of the kitchen is lovely as well everything else was a cherry on top. Thank you Ricky for your lovely service and thank you to the cook(who is also the owner! Freaking love this place) who wanted to make sure our food was to our liking! I can't get enough of this place and can't wait until I come back...
