Hi-Tones — Restaurant in San Antonio

BEWARE! My car got towed from their parking lot even though I was a patron at their bar (I have my receipts too!) I parked at HiTones around 9:30 pm, went in & had some drinks. Got a call from my friend & met up with her to get some food at El Regio & then went back into Hi-Tones for a few more drinks. My friend went to put her purse in my car & it was gone. The owner had the bouncer call a towing company. Had to pay over $220 to get my car out & now have to go to court to contest the charges. How are you going to be towing patrons vehicles on a weekday? We were literally the only people at your bar! No wonder...

I've only been here a few times over the years. It's kind of tight inside, the spacing..the way it's laid out..so if you like your space like I do..makes it a little uncomfortable. Staff seemed friendly enough..be it a little judgemental..lol. Door guy made fun of me walking in high heels 😆 probably because their parking is gravel,ang their entrance perched on an incline. Still I always manage.. he says "How are you walking in those?!" (Stilettos) I said "Magic!" And he rudely commented back "that's Not magic!" S**t attitude voice. Lol.. Love this place!! One of my favorite small venues and bars in SATX. There's cool art all over the walls and there's a really cute patio area and bar. The vibes in there are really good. They have great drink specials. And the bartender, Joe, is super cool! They are known for their Pickle shot and Chamoy shot which are both really tasty. I like pickle juice..so I'm happy getting drunk off of it. Haha. I definitely recommend coming here for a show or just to stop in for some drinks while in...
