First time went through Drive Thru, ordered our meals and got to the window and food was ready. We got our food and pulled off. We were in the parking lot to check our food and was not please at all to had gotten everything Cold. So we thought we were gonna be able to go inside to report this and the Lobby was closed. We went around 4:15pm. So I guess they keep that part closed due to the Pandemic. So of course we went back through the drive thru to let them know and did not like the attitude given once we let them know nicely everything was cold. So they ask for everything back and receipt and to pull up to replace. We did and a young came out with the other order to explain that they were just giving food that been sitting there waiting to get purchase and the employees were sitting there waiting as well. I said well thats not right that you wouldn't won't cold food serve to you either that you would bring it back. He said he apologize, but since I know now. That was the first and last time of my business with them. It was rude and inconsiderate to your customers. If you lied and said it had just been dropped as well. I would have felt the heat coming from the bag which it was not. So they lost a great customer. Hopefully they will get it together with some smiles on they face with better...
Read moreI wrote a review a while back (read below). It has been a while and I decided to try again because management responded that they would fix this problem. Im currently in line. It took them 20 mins before taking my order, while I was waiting at the order speaker. Not sure why they are so inefficient and take so long to take an order. It is called fast food service for a reason. So sad I moved to this side of town and this is the only Jack in the box near me. Worst experience at a restaurant ever. Don't waste your time and go to McDonald's accross the street. They need better management or need to look at ways of making their processes for efficienct. Do better. Way better.
NOTE:Updated 11.05.2020 I pulled up with only 2 cars in front of me at the drive thru. Im about to order and im told to give them a few so i oblige. About 5 mins later they come back to me and im thinking maybe theyve got 1 cook and 1 person on the window so i understand. They took 10 mins on the 1st car after that. And 20 mins on the 2nd car. Altogwther i must have spent 35 - 40 mins waiting before i realize that its too long. I drove across the st and picked up mcdonalds instead. Read moreThis is literally the worst Jack in the Box and the worst fast food joint in all of San Antonio. Not once have I ever been able to order food. It’s always, “we don’t have a cashier”, “we don’t have food, we’re waiting for the truck”, “we’re cleaning the fryer”, “the machines are down”, there’s literally ALWAYS an EXCUSE or they don’t even answer the drive thru window or phone even with the OPEN sign on. This place is comically bad and the only empty drive thru in the mornings. I’m surprised the owners haven’t noticed they make ZERO dollars during morning hours. One time an employee even walked up to my car at the menu board to tell me they had no food, then cursed me out after I asked if they could turn off mobile ordering if they weren’t serving food (I had placed a mobile order). Then after a back and forth, he said “alright I’ll make your food!” So if he was able to make my food then he had originally been lying. I, of course, drove off, why would I want an unstable psychopath preparing my food? I was so traumatized, I never even went back for a refund. I really wish someone would step in and make this...
