Taco Bell — Restaurant in San Antonio

If I could give a rating of NEGATIVE 5 stars, I would. I have lived in this area for 20 years and honestly this KFC/Tacobell has been getting worse and worse as the years go by. I've had many bad experiences here and ONLY return because my wife loves Tacobell. It never fails that my order is messed up or something is forgotten. I've brought my issues up with the area manager but nothing gets resolved. On this occasion my wife wanted KFC so I went in the drive-thru and was the only customer there. I ordered a Fill Up Meal with crispy chicken. When I got to the window to pay, I was told the chicken would take 15 minutes. I stated I would be fine waiting. I was told they would bring my order out to me. I parked on the side, across from the drive-thru. I was on the phone and next thing I knew, 30 minutes had gone by and I didn't realize it. I went inside to ask about my order and was told that it was going to take 15 minutes for the crispy chicken. I explained to the manager that I had already been waiting 30 minutes when I was told it was going to take 15. The manager then says that they had original chicken available. I replied that I didn't want original but instead my money back. The manager was visibly upset and asked me if I still had the drinks from my order. I told her I never received my drinks. She begrudgingly gave me a refund and didn't say sorry or anything.

If you look at all my reviews of other restaurants, you'll see I always give great reviews. This place and one other didn't get a good review from me. To me, this Tacobell/KFC lacks real leadership that can effectively take it to another level. It seems they are okay with just being subpar. They need a better leader and training for their employees. I would encourage you to spend your money elsewhere. I told my wife that we will no longer spend our money here, instead I'll drive to another Tacobell/KFC that is 30...

I will not be returning to this location. We ordered three of the regular chicken sandwich combo and one spicy chicken combo. We got all the way home and the three regular chicken combo's did not have any mayonnaise. Then on one of the regular chicken sandwiches had some type of sweet sauce on it. On top of that they had the audacity to serve an old piece of chicken for the spicy chicken sandwich and it was small. I drove all the way back to have them make the whole order again. However, I did as the question "for your regular chicken sandwich combo, is there supposed to be mayonnaise?" The young girl said "yes, but did they tell you we were out of mayonnaise?" I said "no". Needless to say they made the whole order again, but still yet I get all the way home and they didn't even remake the spicy chicken sandwich combo right. They made it without the spicy sauce. We just went ahead and made our own spicy sauce for the spicy chicken sandwich. Now although the staff was nice during the whole process, but they should have informed me that they ran out of mayonnaise so that I could have made a conscientious decision to order something else or say no thank you we won't be...

🚨🚨🚨As a former employee at this location, I advise anyone thinking of eating here to take your business elsewhere. The manager is an egotistical, petty, condesending idiot that doesn't care about his customers or his employees. They are never paying anyone for the right amount of hours they worked and treats his employees like the dirt he walks on and calls the customers a few choice words after they leave, his favorite being "**ing idiots". Putting personal issues aside, the resteraunt itself is literally falling apart, the only thing holding it together is all the grease and grime. The dishes are never completely clean, the gnats are EVERYWHERE because the building hasn't had a proper cleaning in God only knows how long. MIKE, "The Manager" sets his hard working employees up for failure and only cares about himself and your money. And the sad part is, most of our regulars and some not so regulars agree! DO NOT EAT HERE.
