San Anto legend near 5 points. One of two places that I know of that has OG Crispy Dogs! The best chicken fried steak in town. Expect to wait , unless you're solo. Then bar seating is a great option. Had a wonderful meal, the place was packed inside as well as outside. I did get seated immediately, since I was alone. The only reason I gave 1 star for atmosphere, ( which really wasn't the restaurant's doing) is because on the table right on the other side of my bar seating, was a family. This family had a 2-3 year old girl that screamed and cried super loud , continually throughout the course of my dinner. Which made it hard to really enjoy my meal. All the adults at that table failed to be sensitive to the other diners. Why , do children get a pass in public for being so obnoxious? I felt like screaming and loudly crying back at her, but as an an adult behaving in the same manner as this tiny succubus, would probably be asked to leave. I wish the manager would have managed the situation. Other patrons in my area were just as perturbed. Last Tuesday, I was en route to a group dinner at MK Davis. One of our party members arrived before the rest of us and was seated at a table for six. However, he was then informed by either the hostess or waitress that he could not use the table unless he was going to use it. When he responded that he would be using it, he was told that the waitress wanted him to sit in the party room. He then went to the party room, only to be told that he would not be served until the rest of his party arrived and that he should go sit at the bar. This was despite the fact that the restaurant was not even close to being full when I arrived. Furthermore, this was not an isolated incident. On a separate occasion, I was also turned away from MK Davis. It is important to note that MK Davis does not own the street in front of its doors or the sidewalk. Despite this, a rather husky waitress came out and informed us that we could not park there and had to move. In light of these experiences, it is evident that MK Davis discriminates against bikers.
