McDonald's — Restaurant in San Antonio

Ever since this location opened it's been nothing but waiting for you order. I've given them at least half dozen or so chances hoping and praying that the head manager would eventually figure it out? Boy was I wrong about that if your not in the mood for waiting long periods of time do not go to this location. Sorry but enough is enough, they tell me they are either short staffed or just having to many employees call in missing wy to much work? Update 2/5/2025 for the past 6 months now ever since last review I've been visiting this location for breakfast,lunch,dinner, they have clearly redeemed themselves in a professional manner I would like to take back everything that was said previously and they are solid and have been running this location the way it should be ran. The food is excellent and the staff is great. They don't have a long wait at all now. I went tonight just right at midnight and went through the drive through and was having trouble with the McDonald's app for some reason, the gentleman at the window named Nicholas helped me out and just took care of me No questions asked. I advised based upon him stepping up that I would gladly take the time to update a review on this location. Excellent...

Go through the drive thru and food was delivered pretty quick...BUT the guy handed our food to us and immediately slammed the window shut. We were asked to drive to the 2nd window. We were handed our food and the guy immediately slammed the window shut. All is OK until we made sure we had everything and no ketchup. We sat there for just a little bit thinking they would see us...nope. we honked. Still nothing. We honked again. Still nothing. Guy that handed us our food finally saw us in the 1st window and sent somebody else to us. Thing is, we had fries. If you're nit going to automatically give ketchup with fries, at least ask is there's anything else we need and don't just slam the window shut. An F you would have been more of an acknowledgment that we got. 8 minutes after you receive you food is absurd. And no. I'm not going inside to get ketchup when I'm in the drive thru...for a reason. Food was nice and cold.by the time we got home. Called and spoke to manager and he was probably 17 and didn't gaf. Reviews are legit...keep going to McDonald's on Judson/O'Connor instead! If we got back, we will not move forward to next window to avoid...

Employees had attitudes like they hate they job and hate their customers which is ridiculous we are spending money but it's very small and I think some people mess it up for everyone else employees stand off to the side and hid from customers walking in they are always on their phone and yesterday I went the manager was on her phone ordering food for a relative while customers were piled up from the door waiting on her to be done buying her relative some food looking at us with a attitude Her last name was Ford the manager very rude and impolite again if you hate your job why do you continue to work there it's not the customers problem. And they have a sign that says crispy fries boy they need to take that sign down they fries are not crispy I ordered a basket of fries and they were all soft none of them was crispy so yeah that sign has to be took down nothing whatsoever was crispy in that basket of fries I got wouldn't...
