I walked in and waited in line to order which was no problem. I placed a to go order fot 2 medium pizzas, garlic twists, and a drink. This place is small. There is no room to wait for your order so I stood and waited. I went to fill my cup with soda and all but the Mountain Dew was out. Knowing this they continued selling fountain drinks. Bottled options were available but you had to purchase after you already purchased and found out for yourself the other was out. I let the guy behind the counter know all other options were out and he looked at me and walked off without saying a word. After about 15 minutes of waiting the cashier began telling customers there was going to be an hour wait. At that point I realized I should have asked how long of a wait it would be when I ordered. Even though there is a small outdoor area for people to sit and eat, there is still little room for many people to sit and eat there. I waited an hour and 20 min for my food. While I waited, I counted 5 people ask for refunds and leave because they got tired of waiting. I also watched a bunch of other families walk out before ordering due to theong wait times. While waiting, the manager walked our to the dining room to get some water out of the soda machine. A customer complained about only having 1 soda option and he was cluess about being out of soda. He then went into a rant about all of the issues they were having being forced to open a week too early before the team was trained and before they were properly stocked. Not really something customer's should hear after waiting suchong times for their food. I had noticed some boxes being put in the warmer for pick up orders after about an hour of waiting. I didn't think anything of it because I watched people come in and out picking up orders, and people that ordered before me were still waiting. I finally got tired of waiting so I walked up to the counter to ask about my order. That's when I saw my name and table tent number on the box. Those box were sitting in thw warmer 20 min before I saw them. I guess if you have to go orders, you have to check yourself because they don't call out orders. Even though the pizzas were there, my garlic twists were not. The cashier did offer to yell back and ask them to make some. I wasn't about to wait longer. I wasn't even offered a refund for the garlic twists. I had to ask for my refund. Even after all of that, the food was still good. I will be back but will wait a few months until things settle down. Hopefully, by then, they will get their stuff together.
Update: I've since been back 3 or 4 times. Once they worked through the growing pains of new store opening, they've completely turned it around. Service jas been friendly every time. The food is great and always hot. I can drive 30 min back home and still have a hot pizza. You have to try the King Arthur Supreme. The linguica really gives...
Read moreSo I do like this place. Unless I'm invited though I won't be going back. Pizza is very decent. But this place is extremely overpriced for pizza. Sometimes you'll see in my post that I complain about prices. But both of my parents had restaurants and I have also worked in the restaurant industry. And even though I do not any longer I do from time to time will could costs trying to determine what it should be. Now on to the pizza. I got there double pepperoni which is regular pepperoni and then small pepperonis. I like the fact that it kind of burned the edges of the small pepperoni gives it a great burnt flavor. I really didn't taste anything special with their three cheese blend but there cheese is good. Crust is cooked well which is a plus. It was a large which is more than enough for one person and or two people. They cut their slices smaller than average, which I kind of like that. The sauce and the pizza a little too much. And it's a little spicy and too tangy for me. That's the only down for me. I'm not into a overly tangy and spicy marinara sauce. Also ordered a personal Pizza To Go. I believe it's like a 6-in pizza. Maybe a tad bit bigger than a Red Baron's microwave Pizza. $10.81 after tax. Order the garlic twists, very hot very fresh when they come out with a little side of marinara. Again the marinara sauce just is not my favorite. Now this is where I kind of lose it. $3.49 for a soda!!! Insane. Bring your own drink for that price. Overall the place is nice, clean and I enjoy the music selection they were playing. Their pizza is good it's cooked very well I'm just not a fan of the sauce or their prices. I look for the working man's bargain with a family. This is not the place. But if you're okay with the price by all means you will enjoy this place. And the employees are very nice and helpful. I'm sure I will be back but only if I'm invited to go with somebody else. I have other places that I can go for good pizza that's a little more reasonable. $32 for a pizza large. I believe that's without tip. Because they want tips. $14 for three piece garlic twists and two drinks including the tip. $10.81 + tip $12 for a small...
Read moreI had high hopes, but left disappointed. The pizza failed to deliver the flavor I was hoping for.
We ordered the XL King Arthur supreme and a M ham. We had multiple ordering issues. First we used a coupon from the website for a $5 Medium, but that excluded us from the signup bonus of free breadsticks. Then we wanted stuffed crust on the supreme, but it wasn't available on the XL or the M, only the L.
The staff ended up bringing us the breadsticks anyways, which was nice, but the pizza was just OK.
The supreme was lacking a bit flavor wise, the dough was mushy towards the center, and the bell pepper seemed a bit undercooked. The crust on the ham was a bit better, but the pizza itself was still lacking in flavor.
3 of us were trying this place for the first time, but all of us agreed that due to the price and flavor, we probably wouldn't be back. The pizza wasn't horrible, but it didnt justify $28 for a supreme, or a $18 for the M ham.
The XL was advertised as 16 slices, but slices ranged from super skinny to normal size. One person commented they must have struggled to get it sliced into 16 pieces. It honestly looked like it should have been 12 slices.
Supreme Pizza 6/10 Ham Pizza 7/10
Overall I think flavor was the number 1 issue, we wouldnt have minded $50 for 2 pizzas and 3 drinks if the pizza was amazing. But because of the price, we expected more, so price would be the 2nd factor.
Service was great, staff was friendly, answered every question, explained pizzas not on the menu to us, even got us the free breadsticks.. Just wish the pizza had...
