Smoothie King — Restaurant in San Antonio

My daughter really likes this place and I found a smoothie I really enjoy as well. Only issue is the sign at the counter advertising military discounts. Oh yeah? But only if you buy a medium or larger. Really? When I served I didn't sign to only protect rich Americans or only Americans who paid the most taxes. It was difficult to swallow but the smile on my little girls face when she gets her smoothie calmed my nerves. Just don't even offer a discount in my opinion. Don't tell me you appreciate my service and want to show your appreciation only if I spend so much money. Better yet donate my discount to veteran programs but don't upsale...

I called Smoothie King at the Rim and asked if they could bring a smoothie out to my car because I’m extremely sick and to top it off, I wasn’t even wearing shoes 😅 (I had originally gone to the Boerne drive-thru, but they closed early today).
