Poor morale amongst staff, no smiles. No problem with the food though they didnt have what was advertised with the kids meal (Cars watch replaced with Smithsonian airplane bag/booklet). Also there was only one high chair and it was incredibly sticky. Not a great sign since it was mid- morning and there couldn't have been too much traffic yet that day. After getting my food and preparing to sit and eat, I witnessed an unpleasant interaction between a subway staff member and a manger or other leading staff member. The leading member (older mustached man) spoke to the staff member (small mid-aged woman) working behind the counter informing her he was leaving. She asked him something that sounded like she expected him to go at a different time and he was visibly annoyed. He took an aggresive step towards her pointing his finger and said something about how she needed to keep wiping that counter or something similar. Read moreAbsolutely disappointing experience. I went through the drive-thru and there was a simple miscommunication on my end about the sandwich I ordered. I completely understood that, and I was willing to give the incorrect sandwich back untouched. But instead of helping resolve the situation, the manager Maria and her employees were flat-out rude and dismissive. Rather than showing any level of basic customer service or understanding, Maria refused to remake the sandwich unless I paid full price for a second one, even though I was handing the original one right back. It wasn’t about the money..it was about how I was treated. The attitude from her and the rest of the staff was completely uncalled for and incredibly unprofessional. We all make mistakes, customers and workers alike, but treating someone with disrespect over something so minor is unacceptable. Read moreSubway has to be the worst sandwich shop in town now. They have not been able to keep up with the other sandwich shops, and their service has gone into the crapper. Every single time I order from a subway now, and it’s usually this one on West Avenue, they get the order wrong. And they will argue with you if you tell them it is wrong. Unfortunately on a few occasions I’ve gotten all the way home before I realize they totally got the order wrong. It’s not worth going back at that point. Tell you the truth it’s just not worth ordering from Subway anymore. Jersey Mike’s, Lennys, firehouse, all 1,000,000% better than subway. And since Subway has increased the prices, they cost about the same as the other places, so I just refused to give subway one penny more from here on out.
