Subway — Restaurant in San Antonio

I ordered a FOOT LONG Veggie Sandwich at this Subway Restaurant on December 3, 2024:

VERY POOR SERVICE!

I ALWAYS order a FOOT LONG Veggie Sandwich whenever I go to a Subway Restaurant.

I ALWAYS get 3 condiments of Sweet Onion Sauce as a side order to go. The sauce makes my sandwich soggy by the time I get home.

I have NEVER had any problems from any Subway Restaurant giving me 3 condiments of Sweet Onion Sauce to go.

This Subway Restaurant had an EXTREMELY BAD and HATEFUL attitude when I requested 3 condiments of Sweet Onion Sauce to go.

The person in charge of this Subway Restaurant would NOT even give me 2 condiments of Sweet Onion Sauce.

I LITERALLY HAD TO BEG him to give me 2 condiments of Sweet Onion Sauce.

AFTER LITERALLY BEGGING FOR ABOUT 5 minutes, he decided to give me 2 condiments of Sweet Onion Sauce.

The condiment containers are VERY small.

As I mentioned, I ordered a FOOT LONG Veggie Sandwich.

I did NOT have enough sauce for my sandwich!

I should have left the sandwich on the counter and walked away!

The ONLY reason why I did not leave the sandwich on the counter and walk away is because I did NOT want the sandwich to be wasted.

AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE, I will NO longer accept and pay for food that is not made or cooked to my satisfaction.

Subway is my favorite restaurant. This location is not. Came in during lunch rush, (I used to work in the industry so I understand being overworked and underpaid) I was pretty quick with my order, patient with the long wait time, and even dismissed their rotting lettuce. However, the lady who assembled my sandwich threw everything on there. It was poorly packaged so when I pulled it out of the bag it fell apart onto the concrete. The toppings came out in one piece and all I was left with was the bun. During checkout she was incredibly rude and refused to understand that I just wanted a drink, no meal after repeating it 3 times in a row with a response of "a meal?" but was charged for it anyways. Called management to let them know the situation in hopes of a partial refund for 1 sandwich since I wasn't able to eat it (the second sandwich was made with care by a different member) and I was asked to see the sandwich. It was on the floor outside, and I was at work. I was offered to have my sandwich remade and no refund as per "district manager request" but I don't want to go back for another poor sandwich. I went in today. I stood in line patiently. I always observed my surroundings. I observed the Subway worker prep 3 orders before mine. My concern is he used 1 set of gloves the whole time. He grabbed the bread, the deli meats, the warmer stove handles, and then the veggies. Never once changed his gloves in between one task or another. When it came to my order, I asked him kindly. May I asked for 1 favor with my order? He said sure. I said may you put on a fresh pair of gloves? He said why? Gloves are gloves, they’re all the same. I said , please? He complied. He gets my wrap, then my deli meats and cheese. I said one more favor……he said yes? I said may you put on new gloves to grab my veggies. He said, what? I said you touched meat with those gloves, so you may need new gloves to touch veggies. He was not happy with me. He said no one in 30 years of working in the kitchen has ever asked him to do that.
