On Saturday, we decided to have brunch at The Cheesecake Factory located at 7400 San Pedro Ave Ste 120, and our experience was exceptional, thanks in large part to our server, Nick. From the moment we were seated, Nick made us feel welcome and attended to our needs with an impressive level of professionalism and warmth. His attentiveness was truly noteworthy—my water glass was never allowed to drop below half full, ensuring we were always comfortable and well-hydrated throughout our meal.
Nick’s service set the tone for the entire dining experience. He promptly brought out our drinks and followed up with their signature bread basket, which was a delightful start. The bread was warm and fresh, giving us a great first impression. Not long after, our meals arrived, and we were pleasantly surprised by the speed at which our orders were prepared. Despite it being a busy weekend brunch service, Nick managed to serve our food quickly without compromising quality, which showed great coordination between him and the kitchen team.
For my main dish, I chose the specialty burrito that featured chorizo and eggs. The portion size was generous, and every bite was packed with a rich, flavorful mix that kept me satisfied throughout the meal. The blend of spices and the perfectly cooked eggs made it a standout item that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting for brunch. My wife opted for the eggs Benedict, and she couldn’t stop raving about how well-executed it was. The poached eggs were flawless, and the hollandaise sauce added the perfect touch of tanginess and creaminess. It’s safe to say that both of our dishes met and even exceeded our expectations.
Our three children each ordered kids' breakfast plates, which were also a hit. Watching them eagerly dig into their meals and finish everything on their plates was a testament to how much they enjoyed it. The food not only catered to adults with its diverse and gourmet options but also provided kid-friendly meals that appealed to our young ones, which can sometimes be hard to find in restaurants of this caliber.
What truly elevated our dining experience was Nick’s continuous effort to ensure everything was perfect. He checked on us frequently, but not to the point of being intrusive—just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. His attention to detail, from remembering special requests to making sure our children were content, did not go unnoticed. Nick's dedication to great service played a huge role in making our brunch special.
The atmosphere at The Cheesecake Factory was vibrant yet comfortable, perfectly suited for a family outing. The decor was elegant, creating a welcoming environment, and the restaurant was well-maintained. Overall, the cleanliness and ambiance added to the overall positive experience.
This visit to The Cheesecake Factory reminded us why it continues to be a go-to spot for great food and excellent service. With staff like Nick, who goes above and beyond to make guests feel valued, it’s no wonder this location stands out. We left feeling satisfied and well taken care of and look forward to our next visit. If you’re heading to this location, I’d highly recommend asking for Nick—you won’t be...
Read moreThis was my first visit to The Cheesecake Factory. It is located inside North Star Mall, but there is an outside entrance which is great if you want to avoid the temptation of shopping, lol. The parking is hard to find if you want to get a space by the restaurant, but they do offer valet parking for $8 if you want to go that route. I instead parked in the mall parking garage and walked thru the mall to the restaurant. We went on a Sunday, a small group of eight and we asked for a table. We were told we'd have to wait forty five minutes which we agreed to do. When we were finally paged, almost an hour later, we were given a booth, not what we asked for. They then informed us that we would have to wait additional time if we wanted a table. Since we had been waiting an hour already, we squeezed into the booth and we hardly fit. The restaurant is beautiful and the waiter was kind. As we looked at the menu, I noticed they had brunch, and I wanted to try the chicken and waffles, but there were only ten minutes left before brunch finished, and I couldn't find our waiter. When he finally came by, I told him that I wanted the brunch item and he said he didn't think there would be an issue since it was only two minutes past brunch. The waiter returned ten minutes later and informed me that the manager had denied my order. I was stunned and asked the waiter if he'd tell the manager to please reconsider since when I ordered, it had only been a few minutes since the brunch had finished, and it was my very first time there but the waiter returned and said he refused. I would normally ask to speak with the manager but I didn't want to create a more negative experience than we were already having so I let it go. I instead ordered a bacon cheese burger that was okay, if you can actually find the patty... it was tiny! If you're a burger lover who actually wants meat in their burger, this is NOT the place for you! I understand now why they give you so much bread in the beginning, it's to fill you up! That small premium priced burger is not gonna cut it, so consider yourself warned. On the good side, I also ordered sweet potato fries, and they were delicious. Everyone in my party ordered cheesecake and they said it was good. Over all, I was extremely disappointed. You pay premium prices to have a nice experience and great food. Sadly we didn't get that. In my opinion, it is an over priced establishment that under delivers. With so many other great options in our city to eat at, I can honestly say that I do not see myself ever returning to this establishment, or recommending it to...
Read moreOur waitress, I cannot remember her name, was amazing. Very sweet, informative and very attentive/funny! When we were ordering our appetizers we had to change our order like 4 times because she kept coming back to tell us “we’re out of that” “okay that’s okay” I kept telling her. When we received our appetizers we also got the bread with it, and we ended up filling up on the appetizers. There was a party of around 10 on our right that ordered their entrees right after we ordered ours and a table of 2 on our left that had just sat down as we got our appetizers. Also around 2 other tables that sat on the other end after placed our order. The party got their entrees before us, the table on our right got their apps, entrees and desert and meals to-go before we got our entrees. And the other two tables around us also ate, paid and left before we got our meals. The waitress checked on us a few times and told us that we ordered after the big party that’s why it was taking so long (even though, we didn’t) then she came back again and apologized saying another server took our meals to another table so they had to remake our food. And again after a while to apologize again and tell us that her manager was comping off 1/2 our meal. So around 20 min after she told us that we are greeted by the manager, some younger lady with dark hair and red lipstick, who didn’t speak to me, she spoke really only to my boyfriend and said “I’m so sorry, we didnt have anymore of the sauce for your meal so our cooks had to make fresh sauce, it’ll be out soon” and only brought out my meal. So I told her to please just pack them to go since we were there for roughly 2.5 hours. We also ordered a slice of cheese cake to-go. By this time the party of 10 was long gone. And everyone around us as well. Once the meals and ticket were brought out we saw she only comped off the cheese cake and one meal. Not the 1/2 we were quoted. Even though I left slightly upset because this experience was my first and it wasn’t that great. I still tipped the waitress over 20% because she was awesome. We were never rude and we both completely understood since we’ve both worked in restaurants for yearssss. That’s why we didn’t push so much, but I just feel upset that after waiting over 2 hours for our food we didn’t get the half off we were promised. We paid the ticket, tipped and left. Not sure if I...
