Vino Volo — Restaurant in San Antonio

I've visited lots of wine bars in airports around the world, and I think the Vino Volo in SAT is truly the best! There's always a great wine selection, and the charcuterie board is outstanding. Best of all, the staff (all are great, especially Josie & Mariah!!) is incredible - always friendly, always accommodating, and they remember repeat visitors. How great is that? This is my FAVORITE place at the San Antonio Airport! It has quality food that is healthy, the wine is outstanding, and they have a membership at other airport. I highly value this membership, and now the airport and the city are stripping this location away. They didn't renew their lease to bring in a "local" restaurant (even though they are bringing in a Popeye's and Panda Express). I'm very disappointed they are kicking them out. This is my favorite restaurant to stop at when traveling through the San Antonio International Airport. I literally make time to arrive earlier and enjoy the time waiting for my flight. Josie, Collen, Trystin, Jackie and April are all amazing and very welcoming. Love the great variety of wines and delicious bites!
