For some reason I felt like a Wendy's burger and one of their new frosty swirls so I pull in behind one other car at the drive through and wait forever. The car finally pulls forward and the guy on the speaker says "I'm sorry but we can only take cash at this time" I say that's fine, I have cash. Ok, just one minute. A couple minutes later, he comes back on and says "do you mind coming in instead? We've got a couple of cars ahead of you we're working on." Sure, I say, because I was thinking of getting a baked potato and chili instead and it's easier to eat inside. So I park and go inside and there's nobody at the counter. Finally a guy comes out with his headset on and one arm in a sling and says how can I help you? Are you here alone I ask, thinking he is working both the drive through and the counter. No he says, I've got help. I see one other person, as he drops a new fry basket in the deep fryer. Finally starts to take my order and can't seem to get it right with his one good arm, so he gets help who corrects it but never does add the drink I asked for. I wait for 10-15 minutes when finally, one arm guy brings my order when I realized I didn't get a drink and it wasn't on the receipt. No problem I'll just eat it and go. I get almost done and realize I need a drink to choke it all down so I walk back to the counter and wait behind one other person just to get a drink and a good 5 minutes goes by and nobody comes to the counter to help. There was a young girl waiting there to ask for ice in her cup, so I walk her over to the drink machine to show her how to get ice, and IT'S OUT OF ICE! I'm not standing here in line any longer to get a cup to self serve my drink and not get any ice either, so I left. Slowest service I've EVER encountered at a "Fast Food" establishment. Read moreThis is the 3rd bad experience Ive had at the Wendys so I'm finished going there. I literally just walked out because I waited at least 5 minutes with noone acknowledging me at the front counter. They were focused on the drive thru which only had 2 cars at most. Multiple employees looked at me but noone seemed to care enough to come take my order. I'll take my business elsewhere.
The previous visit here involved an employee with predator looking hair that started yelling at a customer whose order was not correct. The employee stated she was going to come across the counter and whip the customers a** and she also stated that she didnt need this job because she had another one. The manager seemed to have hrr back and they were laughing about the situation. Where in this modern world can you threaten harm on a customer and still keep your employment, Wendys I guess.
The 1st time I had a bad experience they had a hard time completing my order as well as my coworkers and gave us BOTH a bad attitude on two seperate orders. It wasnt just 1 employee, it was both. To top it off the coke machine gave an error that said under maintance so when I asked them to get me my drink from the one behind the counter, it seemed as if they were ready to spit in my drink. It was unbelieveable how nasty they were to us.
I've been in retail and understand it can be difficult but the staffs behavior is a reflection of leadership and the lack of accountability. You know the business is bad when someone will go out of their way, waisting valuable time to leave a lengthy review. I'll never return to...
Read moreThis team is highly disrespectful. This was my second trip there with awful service. The employees seem to care more about each other than they do helping out their customers. They are too busy chatting and joking with each other to even engage with the customers to make a friendly experience. I went and asked what the difference in portion size(weight or ounce etc) between the full size and half size salad. The lady named Brenda responded in such a way making it seem as if I was dumb and couldn't distinguish the difference between half and full. As an intelligent functioning person, I'm well aware that if I were to take a full portion of something and cut it in half that the answer would be half. I work at subway. We have full size foot long sanwhiches and half size six inch sandwiches. Now we all know that half of 12 inches is 6. Now does the customer have to ask how big the half is? No they don't bc the sizes for half and full are marked 12 and six. I will not be returning to this location even though it's walking distance from my place because the service is awful. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect at all time, including the times that people choose to fork over their hard earned money to your company.
