Update; Wendy’s even at corporate level never did make this right, so I am no longer a customer at any Wendy’s. 👍🏽
Drive thru today about 230pm, ordered a salad. Find baby flies at the bottom of the bowl as I was picking thru to h for apple steen because there was a core stem right on the top alongside chicken so dried out it looked like rope. Freaking disgusting and no desire for anything else there because this location has gotten steadily worse over the last year, I just threw it away.
Because I used to work for a Wendy’s, and was actually the person that chopped the salad, and care about other customers, not eating flies or fly eggs, I decided to make a phone call to the manager instead to let them know they might want to check the lettuce mixture. I asked for Alex, the awesome manager that used to run the store, but was told by a snotty email that he no longer works there, she was manager, and she would not give her name. She did not seem to understand that I was not calling to make a huge deal out of being an irate customer, nor was I even originally asking her to replace my food, or give me my money back, however, I was simply informing her that there were baby flies in the salad bowl so she may want to check the rest of the lettuce so the health department wouldn’t wind up being cold. I understand steaks happen, but most customer necessarily care about or maybe understand what happened working in restaurants is constantly shortstaffed, and always a little dirty. that being said, my feedback was not originally understood, so when I clarified to her that I was not calling to Sleep, she still wanted to explain to me that they don’t make their salads in the store anymore I guess, and so that it was what? Not her fault? Well, certainly, it’s not even about fall, but least of all, if it were, would be mine. I really do not appreciate the fact that there was no apology, and only defensiveness, with all I could have done was either let someone else call health department, or else come up like some customers used to do to me and try to throw the salad across the counter for some mistake. Read moreCustomer service, as well as sanitation needs definite improvement. Around 5:45p on Tues 4/12/22 there were three workers (at least 3 visual) at this location... a guy and two ladies working. The guy had gloves but the 2 women did not. Nobody wore mask but gloves are a necessity. I wish the owners would watch the camera for this day/time because I watched the lady on fries (long nails, rings on finger, no hair nets, and no gloves) cook and package food. She then looked up at the monitor while scratching her scalp before going back to food prep. She then grabbed packaging with those same fingers that she craped against her scalp like it was a normal routine or she was in her person kitchen. Unbelievable!! That of course is the sanitation issue. The problem with customer service is that I watched this while waiting at the register for a while. I walked in and the ladies looked right at me and then looked away. They didn't greet me, say "I'll be right with you", or acknowledge me other than looking irritated that a customer (me) had the nerve to want to order. I waited for a while and the "scalp scratching" lady with the glasses walked over with an attitude and just looked at me expecting me to order. I was so grossed out that I just said "nevermind" and I left. I can do without getting sick from these people and I definitely don't want anybody's germs along with their nasty attitude! Read moreThey always get my order wrong here, lately. This last time the food was definitely a leftover, the chicken patty too small for what is supposed to come on the classic big bacon cheddar, there were no onions and the bun was like a generic low quality bun I could get from the dollar store instead of the large fluffy cheddar baked bun that’s supposed to come on the sandwich. I asked for no fries and 2 cookies and got fries and 1 cookie. Checked my order as fast as possible and didn’t notice at first as I was rushed out of the drive thru by the unfriendly worker, turns out they didn’t give me a receipt either so they wouldn’t fix my order when I came back around to the window. They might have been new as they didn’t even know what was on their own menu as I had to clarify my initial order twice, repeating the name and the number on the menu. I’ve been going here every once in a while for 12 years and the quality has gone down a lot, not to mention they’ve replaced their nice employees with ones who barely treat you with respect as a human regardless of if you’re polite and talk with manners to them.
