Whataburger — Restaurant in San Antonio

I would give this place a 0 stars for many reasons. Went with a small group of friends tonight & out of 4 orders only 2 were made. We were the only people in the restaurant for about 30 minutes and there was only 2/3 cars in the drive thru when we got there. The guy at the front took our order & gave us our drinks. We sat down and waited 45 minutes before finally asking about our food to which one of the workers told us that it was almost done. We waited another 15 minutes before asking yet again about our food status just to be told that our food was coming. At this point we’re kind of frustrated but we patiently wait again. After some time we go to the counter yet again to ask about our food, keep in mind we are the only people in the restaurant for 45 minutes!!! Finally an employee ask me for my receipt after I ask again and inform me that they “lost the order so they didn’t know what our order was”. It was so infuriating at this point because not a single employee decided inform us about the confusion AT ANY POINT. The manager then said that they’d start working on our food but at that point I just gave up and requested a refund. Waiting for an hour at a fast food restaurant is so frustrating. I would’ve considered a better review if at any point someone came to us to ask us for our order but none of them did. It takes 2 seconds to provide MINIMUM customer service & not a single person in that place could do the bare minimum. 0/10 would never recommend this location. I hope they work on their communication skills...

Went into the store on Friday late. Ordered breakfast. Waited 20 minutes. Still didn't have my order. Continued waiting. The manager looked at my number and said, "We don't have an order for that number.", so I pulled out my receipt and showed it to him. 10 minutes more and I finally had my order. The food was fine, the service, not so much...

In order to avoid that, the following night, I ordered late again, but I thought if I ordered on the app and went in to pick up my order, I could avoid the problems of the night before. I went 10 minutes after the time the order was supposed to be ready thinking I would give them plenty of time to get my order ready. Sadly, that was not the case. I arrived, but my order was not ready twenty minutes later (now 30 minutes after the time I was told that my order would be ready), I informed the manager that I still didn't have my order. Finally, ten minutes later (now 40 minutes after I was told my order wld be ready), I received my order. Part of the order was cold, but I decided it was best not to ask for anything to be redone.

Each time, the employees were very sympathetic and attempted to be helpful, but, even though, there appeared to be a sufficient number of employees present to prepare the food, they were incapable of doing so in a timely manner.

I will strongly reconsider ordering food from this establishment around the midnight hour. I shouldn't be eating that...

YUCK, YUCK, YUCK! THIS PLACE IS AN ABOMINATION TO MANDKIND, BURGERS, NATURE, GOD AND THE WORLD! SO.. MUCH.. SALT!!! This place is WAAAAAY overrated if people call this the "In-N-Out of Texas". Does that mean In-N-Out has WAAAAAY too much salt? Atmosphere is terrible. It looks more appropriate for, I dunno, a LANDFILL? The building is ugly!! White, Blue, Orange.. who ever THOUGHT? Sonic is really PS3'ed, on the other hand, this place has nothing! Service was horrendous. "..And a Jr. Burger." "What?" "A Jr. Burger." "WHAAT?" "A FLIPPING JR. BURGER!!" quietly "sorry, we don't carry smoothies." "AAAARGH!!!!" I can't remember the prices,but I remember it was too much for even a good burger, and these were terrible! Mom got an Onion Ring. It looked like they fried it, sure- IN THEIR OWN STOMACHS!! I have never seen or tasted anything edible that disgusting. It was discarded immediately. We had fries. I licked a fry I had picked up. I- LITERALLY- turned purple.that was thrown away too. I got a burger, and my sisters had Jr. Burgers (8, 11(me), 14). They were terrible, but we were also starving, so we dug in. At night, a disturbance awoke me. I felt sick. I went to the bathroom, puked, and then I felt the urge to go. Diarrhea, then more puking, and the cycle went on, even both at the same time. I swear to God, that food is toxic. don't go. PS3'ed is a good thing, mind you. It means...
