Every time I go the location at 3006 broadway I always get the worst customer service there. I’m always hoping it’ll be better since it’s by my house but the service remains the same unfortunately. Lack of a better word it “SUCKS”. The last couple times I went there, there were 3 girls standing around talking while there’s one girl working the line. She’s doing the to go orders and the sandwiches were backing up. I then asked if I can get my sandwich cut in half and she said “we don’t usually cut them” when she had just cut the sandwich in half Before mine without an issue. There are times I had ordered a sandwich and was cut in half them without asking. Their so inconsistent there and the workers look like you’re bothering them when they’re there to work. If it’s to go you’re bagging your own food. I went today and there were no other customers in line just me. I waited at the counter to order for 10-15 mins before someone finally acknowledged me and took an order. That’s just short list of experiences I’ve had at that location. I went to huebner location closest to my job and their so welcoming. I asked “can you please cut my sandwich in half ?” “Absolutely” is what he said. They asked “Is it to go or here “. I replied “To go”. She bagged it for me “. Broadway...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever experienced. Sandwich made wrong the first day. Went in the next day to have it fixed and the worker making my sandwich thought it would be appropriate to argue with us about the sandwich we ordered the day prior. It would seem there is no standard of service and managers have to influence or leverage over the professionalism of their subordinates.
I actually really like the theme and quality of the sandwich, just wish it was made correctly, and that customer service was even remotely a priority.
I assume this stores is experiencing challenges with food service workers, but from what I can gather this store may have one foot in the grave if they continue with the level of service they are currently providing. People will look past mediocre food if the service is good. Service will sink a decent restaurant faster than anything. I hope the owners are actively engaged in what is going on with...
Read moreI love this location, I found them about 2 months ago and a week hasn't gone by that I don't stop in. I have not met a s9ngle one of their workers that wasn't kind, no matter how busy they are. I have an allergy to Avocado. A severe allergy in San Antonio (I know, I am risking my life living here, I'm wild, what can I say) and not only have they done food safely correctly, changing their gloves, switching out knives, they go above and beyond to communicate exactly what they are doing and and putting my mind at ease. I have been so many places that don't acknowledge my allergy or me and leave me slightly anxious. Worse, I have had people look at me blankly, as if they have no idea what I mean. I get it, trust me, but this Potbelly location, all of the staff is on top of it, knows exactly what allergy means, and goes above and beyond making me feel safe when I eat there, which is probably why this sandwich stop is a...
