I wanted to update my review on my tea experience here and sadly share that I will no longer be visiting again due to 2 occasions of my drink having plastic bristles found in them. The first occasion was back in March of 2023 I purchased a taro smoothie with regular tapioca bubbles and no whipped cream that as I started to drink it I was getting bits of plastic coming through straw and I just chalked it up to a mishap which mistakes happen. But now sadly on Tuesday, I ordered a mango smoothie with popping mango bubbles and no whipped cream that also contained plastic bristles in the drink. As a commercial agent and a foodie who traveled intensely in Southeast Asia where bubble tea was originally started, I highly recommend this store for bubble tea lovers. This is the second Y bubble store in San Antonio. After the success running their first store in Stone Oak for 2 years, even during the pandemic, they just opened their second store at Bulverde & 1604. The interior is clean and simply, dinners friendly benches and table, bright colors, just bring a happy mood to you. I usually order the brown sugar boba but i always get the regular boba.. today I actually did get the brown sugar and bc i didnt know the difference i went back in bc i thought something was wrong and the lady politely told me there was an actual difference! I felt so bad! Thankfully she gave me a new cup with regular boba so i could pour my drink in it. Im a real big texture maniac and was very pleased that i could enjoy my drink still.
