This review is for Domenico Winery Catering/Events team.
We just had our 150 person wedding with Domenico Winery this past weekend.
Cannot say enough good things about the venue & event planning team. We worked with Karla throughout the entire planning process & she was so professional, sweet, organized & responsive, answering all of our MANY questions for the event over e-mail & phone.
Their catering team is top of the line - we had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had, which we agree with! We elected buffet style to save a little $$ and would do again in a heartbeat -- we had chilean sea bass (literally the best dish), short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, pasta -- all wedding favorites that our guests loved. We even had a few allergies & vegans in our crowd and Domenico happily did plates for them w/o extra cost or fees.
Their bar team was top of the line as well -- we opted for classic margarita & twisted peach tea, we were even allowed to bring in our preferred tea (Lipton) so they could make cocktails with it & they had no problem accommodating this request.
The actual venue in itself was perfect for us. We loved that they had an actual bar and that it was all in one room - made it easy to keep everyone together & watch kids attending the wedding. We loved the modern/industrial feel of the venue & that they have modern market lights strung throughout & the cask wall -- it allowed for us to do minimal decor/purchases overall which saved us $$. The catwalk was amazing for entrances & such a moment we used it 2-3 times throughout the night!
We loved that Domenico was a catering/venue too as we didn't have to worry about coordinating any of the food/catering or event set up. All we had to worry about was minor decor items and any extras we wanted -- made wedding planning very easy!
While we did spend quite a bit of money for our wedding, I do think this venue is rather underrated/hidden gem in the Bay Area Peninsula if you want a winery feel without going to Napa/Sonoma or Paso Robles. We ultimately chose Domenico as we wanted a local wedding with that feel without having our family traveling too far or spend $100k+
We feel that what we spent we definitely got back in service/care, quality & experience and that it was worth every penny. We would do with them in a heartbeat again & can't recommend them enough to future couples who are looking to get married here.

We live close to the winery, so when we stopped by one day, we knew that it would be the perfect venue for our reception! From day one, the staff at Domenico greeted us with open arms, and we were so impressed by how welcoming, knowledgeable, and organized the staff was.
Wedding planning can be extremely daunting, but Domenico helped make the planning process so much easier! Through Domenico, we booked our catering, tables, chairs, linens, napkins, utensils, chargers, barrel tea lights, open bar, mini donut station, and popcorn machine! The venue also has a sound system already set up, as well as a TV where we were able to share our wedding slideshow, which played throughout the party. We were so incredibly relieved that Domenico was able to help us with all of the rentals, and that was such amazing value for the price we paid. We couldn't believe how many things we were able to do through Domenico, and they were extremely accommodating when we shared our vision and what we wanted to do. We found the perfect copper chargers and utensils with their guidance, and it fit our reception aesthetic perfectly. And with COVID, the staff at Domenico was extremely kind; their staff did the COVID check-in for our guests as they arrived (they checked temperatures, immunization status, and test results for our guests as they walked in). The reception really felt stress-free, and our guests had so much fun! When it came to our signature cocktails, the staff was also extremely open to our ideas, and executed our drinks perfectly! Our friends loved the drinks, and everyone was so happy with the food, beverages, and dessert - especially the live mini donut station! We also booked the private Syrah Suite for our wedding party to spend time before the wedding guests arrived, and it was the perfect space for us all to bond, practice our grand entrances, and enjoy snacks and beverages before the party got started. It also came with a full-length mirror and a private bathroom, which I personally loved having access to as the bride!

Read moreWe booked Domenico Winery for a wedding reception, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The venue is spacious but has a cozy feel, and with ~100 guests we didn’t feel too small or too big. We worked with an outside caterer, and Domenico’s coordinated with the caterer on our behalf, handling table size and placement, serving requirements, etc. The staff was very friendly and they provided excellent service the day of the event, and everything felt very elevated and upscale without seeming too pretentious or stuffy. The bartenders were excellent and also accommodated our specialty cocktails that we requested. We got many compliments from our guests about how special and unique the venue was, and we loved the versatility of the space.
However, the best part of working with Domenicos was their in-house team: our day-of coordinator Bruna and our initial contact/sales manager Karla. Karla was instrumental in making us feel confident in booking the venue to begin with, addressing all of our initial concerns and accommodating our external vendor requests. Both Karla and Bruna were always on top of our requests throughout the process, and would regularly check in with us when we had forgotten to give them a detail we needed.
In the weeks leading up to the event and on the day of, Bruna coordinated with all of our vendors (we had external food, flowers, DJ, photography, videography, and cake) and handled all our scheduling. She knew everything that was going on for each vendor, and she is immensely creative and talented. We had our vision for our decorations/layout that she helped execute, but we could also count on her to make the right choice if something wasn’t possible or wasn’t working for one reason or another. We were able to drop things off days before our event and didn’t have to take anything home the night of the event. It was all gathered for us, and we picked it up over the next couple of days. All of our family members complimented her on how well everything was organized, and she interacted well with the guests while not inserting herself too much into everything that was going on.
