I had a 10:30 am appointment, and they took 3.5 hours. It was my dog’s first time with them; as they should know, he was nervous. It makes no sense to book an appointment if they will not dedicate the appointment slot. She also shaved my dog and did not take any time to detangle, which is why I am paying like hello.I also did not see her working on my dog, and I went in to ask what was the time frame I could get him, and she said he was drying; I was like, what? She should have started him and finished all the way through. Then I returned after 45 minutes, and she still wasn’t working on my dog; when she saw me, she brought my dog out and started working on him. I also saw her be rough with my dog when it came to his face; this is the area you must brush and detangle, and I couldn’t help but go in and ask her to take her time detangling. She looked red in the face and confused, and she didn’t speak for herself. She had her coworkers speak and say she was trying to blah blah. My dog became even more nervous when he saw me. They seemed upset, but whatever, I had to step in to make sure she did not hurt him. Then her co-worker started helping her with the face area, and she was actually brushing and detangling. My dog seemed like he did not like the experience; he should not have been there that long, especially if they knew it was his first time with them, and he was nervous. This review is for Melanie at the grooming salon. I just picked up my dog and had to share my amazing experience with her! She's so sweet and friendly. It's clear that she really cares about the dogs she grooms.

I accidentally came in a day before my scheduled appointment, but she had just gotten off the phone with a cancellation and offered to take me. My dog is nearly 15 years old and has a landmine of warts. She made sure to ask if he's had any calming medications or needs any, and if he has any health issues.

The grooming ended up taking nearly all day because he couldn't stand for long and she gave him tons of breaks. I'm so grateful! Many groomers in the area won't even groom him because of his age. It's a rare gem to find someone so kind and patient. She also offered a few add-ons that I felt were really enhancing, like a conditioner and nail filing/sanding. I never felt like she was trying to upsell me. She also told me that I could spray a little sunscreen on him since his hair would be so short and he would need skin protection (I asked for a buzz cut because he gets so overheated in the summertime).

When I picked him up, she had given my dog a little bow but warned me to take it off if he was home alone because there was wiring in it. I'll be back and I hope Melanie will be there! Incredibly impressed. Call and ask for her if you have a senior dog. She's very compassionate and...

Today, I went to the Petsmart dog camp to try their playtime and camp time. I left my dog in the half-day camp, and when I got my dog back at 1:00, I was told that my dog was inside the cage the whole time because they didn't have time to set up the camp. The whole point of leaving her there is so she can have some fun and interact with other dogs. I spent the whole day just around the area to wait for her to have a good time. When I got my dog, my dog was thirsty; she needed to go pee and poop, and she did nothing but stay in the cage the entire time. If you're going to bring your dog to this location, you have to be aware that your dog might not do any exercise as advertised; it was very disappointing. The problem is, that what was supposed to be a fun day with playtime, was otherwise a very traumatizing experience for her. She already associates Petsmart with going to the veterinarian, so it will be tough for her to return there and have a good time. I was hoping that this place would be a good place for my dog, but I spent money just to have my dog locked down in a cage for 4 hours.
