I came in here a week or so ago during the COVID quarantine and I SO enjoyed it. Bay Area restaurants had started opening for outdoor service so my partner and I stopped in hoping to taste some wine, enjoy some snacks, and soak up some fun. We were seated on the patio at a very safe distance from others. Our service was quite good and each server was attentive. Biggest drawback? Not being able to wine taste at the restaurant. I asked about doing a flight so I could sample 3-4 wines instead of having to choose on blind, but no dice. That said, the rosé served by the glass was quite lovely and reasonably priced at $8/glass. TBH, we ended up buying a bottle! It was only $22, so worth the price, and given normal restaurant prices, that was a steal. We shared with Regina pizza and the spinach salad. Both were great - the salad was your standard spinach and pancetta salad, tasty though not exactly healthy. The pizza was just perfect. Simple, fresh, great ingredients. They made sure to put a dollop on burrata on every slice! Overall, this is my new haven of happiness for quarantine and I know I'll be back.

I went there a month ago for a birthday. We sat at the bar and the night was just perfect. The ambiance and whole décor of the dining room with open kitchen is minimalist, modern, and still brings the warmth of a family house. Our bartender was very knowledgeable and introduced us to the wine they produce in the Sierra Foothills, CA. We all found what we like based on his personalized advice. The food was delicious and everything reasonably priced. Go check out this restaurant! It is a nice spot after shopping in San Carlos. They have an outdoor patio and serve happy hour every Wednesday from 4 to 6pm.

We had wonderful service from everyone who interacted with us. I was happy to see that I could have multiple gluten free options if we chose to do a variety of appetizers or if we chose to do just mains--today we did just mains. I was excited to try some new wines I had not experienced before through the flight option, but there were also selections on the main list that were interesting. We decided to purchase the cantina of an option in our flight. I'll be interested to see how often the selection turns over to fill the cantina--right now there seems to be only three.
