I had the pleasure of dining at Falafel Tazah just now and I have to thank God for bringing me in here with the wind today.
I was greeted by Gerson, who provided customer service and prepared the lamb/beef plate I just had the pleasure of feasting on.
The flavors were impactful and life-changing, in a great way. I enjoyed the hummus (8.5/10, but to be fair, I am a bit of a hummus connoisseur). The lamb and beef was a clear 9.5/10. The salad was good and the pita bread was fresh.
What stood out to me the most was the overall experience, which started with the friendly and speedy service, continued with great blasts of flavor, and ended with me having extra food for later due to the solid portion size.
I 100% recommend anyone to come here and try it out for yourself.
Well done, Falafel Tazah. Next time I come back, I'd have to try...
Read moreLamb and beef shawarma rice plate $18 - decent. Beef and lamb was decent quality, not too saucy or salty. On a bed of vegetables. Rice was typical. Hummus was terrible. Very thin watered down consistency, strange pinkish color, barely any hummus flavor Lamb kebob stick $7 - good. Would have been even better if cooked medium rare instead of well done. Quality meat. 4 medium sized pieces served with a bit of onions, pickles, and tomato Baklava $3 - ok. 1 small piece. Very syrupy, slightly soggy texture. A bit sweet
Ordered takeout, was ready in 15 mins. Small restaurant with some indoor and outdoor tables. It's a busy plaza but the parking lot is huge so no problems parking. Overall, food was decent but not exceptional. Good portions and reasonable prices. Probably wouldn't come back though since there's...
Read moreI got food poisoning from them 2 days ago. When I called and asked for a refund, what I assume is the manager claimed they serve almost 200 customers a day and no one has ever claimed to get food poisoning. He then asked me for a doctors note and was completely dismissive of me and my issue. Food was also very mid at best for almost 24 dollars for a combo shawarma and a drink.
Furthermore, their drinks that were in the cooler were opened already. When I went to grab the yogurt drink and open it, it burst open on me.
Won't be surprised if a manager or owner there decides to attack me on here for telling everyone about how awful the place is.
Do you and your family a favor and skip this place. Not worth the pain...
