What a nice Bar/Restaurant. My Brother and his Wife were in town and we met there for drinks and a bite to eat. It was around three o'clock and I found a two hour parking lot just around the corner. I didn't really know what to expect when we opened the large pub doors and it was a seductive comfortable large spacious space with plenty of atmospheric lighting and just enough people to give it some life, it was perfect. There they were, I could tell the drinks were good, we sat down at the spacious table w/ comfy chairs along with a rustic ambiance w/ an amber glow, when a good looking young man with a great smile, beautiful curly hair and very nice took our orders for drinks, I had a Harp, the other drinks were Gin & Tonic, Guinness, Expresso, Martini Irish Coffee I'm not sure what they drank before I got there but I helped him with his Gin & Tonic. It was a really good drink I tasted the other drinks and they all were superb and plenty strong. I ordered the garlic Prawns and it came with a tasty salad and garlic toast. It was very good. A perfect place to meet and get to talking about when we used to play Baseball and the kids and all the things to catch up and laugh. We had a great time in a fabulous space. If we weren't so ancient we might have stayed. When we paid our bill, a young man with a guitar was setting up to perform and I don't know why, but when you get older does everyone young just look great. Well this kid looked like a real Rock Star. I went over to wish him a good gig and he was Irish to the core with a thick Irish Limerick voice. When we left we were feeling great and we all commented what a fantastic place it was and what a Great time we had. I would say for the full course: appetizer, drinks, & dessert. This is my best estimation $60-$100 Large Beer and Appetizer + Tip about $40-$50

I recommend this cozy, warm friendly pub with an authentic spirit of the O'l Irrrishh...

Molly O's seems to be a relatively new addition to the comforting San Carlos Laurel St. area and I'm so glad I've discovered it. I can't put an exact pulse on whether it is a bar or a restaurant but it sure has an Irish Pub vibe. Slightly dark, lots of wood, a Guiness dispenser, and a relatively bustling scene.

Now this certainly isn't your true Irish Pub or an alcohol first place like Marvin Gardens down El Camino. It makes a great balance of beer and food and that's what you exactly need in a family-centric area like San Carlos. It shouldn't be weird to walk into Molly O's with another colleague or a date night drink, but also it is perfectly comfortable to take your family with kids.

A restaurant business in San Carlos cannot survive only trying to serve the office / night-out crowd as that is the minority. And thus, San Carlos residents always struggle when you just want a quick night out with your buddies or adult chat. And like I said, Molly O's manages to create that Irish Pub but not neglecting families.

The food is obviously comfort-food style. Good portions. Slight Irish twist such as Fish and Chips and Irish Stew French Fries. Again, tasted fine and way above average for a pub. And they seem to be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as everything in between so this could come across a bit dubious whether they'll get even one of them right.

My visit as a pub earned my seal of approval. Will absolutely return again and try it out as a restaurant for a proper...

I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant, and I can't stop raving about it! The atmosphere is amazing, creating a perfect setting for a wonderful dining experience. The establishment exudes a warm family and friends culture that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to accommodate your dining needs.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. It's nothing short of amazing! I've tried several dishes, and each one has left me craving more. The Irish Stew and Shepherd's Pie are hearty and flavorful, giving you a taste of traditional Irish cuisine. The Irish Breakfast is a delightful start to the day, and the Potato Skins and Potato Leek Soup are absolute must-tries.

For those with a penchant for savory and sweet combinations, the Chicken & Waffles is a treat that will leave your taste buds dancing. The Bangers & Mash offer a comforting and satisfying blend of flavors. And let's not forget about the Grilled Salmon – a succulent dish that showcases the chef's skill in preparing seafood.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a place with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu that's a culinary delight, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore even more of their...

Molly O’s is a genuine Irish pub. They have an excellent menu of Irish/California fusion meals of all sizes, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a superb liquor selection. At the time of my visit, The restaurant and bar were brand new, but it felt like there was already an established clientele. It has a friendly vibe; it feels like a part of the local community. They have nice TVs for watching sports, and the seating arrangement is open, but there are these cute little semi-private seating areas at the front windows. My favorites are the fish and chips with a Jameson and a pint of beer. I’ve added Molly O’s to my list of destinations in San Carlos.
