OK so I thought maybe I came on a bad day but after reading the reviews I guess the service is always awful. They genuinely seem put out when you walk in the door, like they're so pissed you chose to bring your money to their crappy establishment. But after you taste the bagels this won't surprise you. It's like they're trying with all their might to keep customers away. So I guess I'd be annoyed too because somehow people aren't getting the hint. So bizarre that there's a line out the door sometimes. I guess because west coasters don't mind bad bagels (no offense). But the absolute worst offense: caraway seeds on everything bagels. Secondly, the cream cheese had a very ābeen in refrigerator for a long timeā taste, like it had other flavors/smells mixed in with it and did not taste like good cream cheese. I couldnāt eat it. Coffee has never been great there but Iāve always been willing to overlook it. Owners, please listen to your longtime La Jolla patrons and make some changes to...
