BACK AGAIN ! It's been a few years since my wife and I have checked out this farmers market...one of our favs. We moved to La Jolla just a couple of weeks ago after living in Orange County for 3 years. On Sunday we found a ( free ) parking spot in a side street and walked a short distance here. WOW ! The place looked much busier than years ago when we arrived around midday. NEW STUFF ! Of course we love finding new stuff particularly food. We had a nice chat with Max from Magnolia Kitchen and sampled some of this yummy looking cookies. The Espresso, Toffee, Chocolate & Sea Salt we later enjoyed at home tasted very good. LUNCH ! Kabuls Chicken ( Afghanistan cuisine ) looked like the perfect place to buy lunch. The vendors rotate, so there's always something new. Plenty of niche produce options if you're looking for mushroom varieties, microgreens, or something special. Large covered area with picnic tables for eating (usually crowded, but most folks are willing to share their table). This is located outside of an elementary school, and has a good playground for little ones, as well as light music. Parking is somewhat limitedāthe neighborhood behind the school has more parking, but your best bet is to get there early. If they're there, I recommend getting stuffed hashbrowns from The Brazilian Guys and a flavored lemonade from the...
