Here I am almost a year later. There is an awesome women working with La Jolla Golf Cart named Alise. She is always extremely responsive and helpful. I needed a new windshield and it was replaced very quickly. She was able to get it fixed that day. She actually cares about the customers and the reputation.
Ok! This is actually amazing. Alise was able to have someone come out and get my tire fixed so fast! I ran over a nail and they patched it. She’s really the queen of customer service and very happy. She’s really on top of it and gives La Jolla golf carts a really good name.
I inquired and purchased this golf cart the same day, 4/2/21 I thought I made it really simple/easy. I wasn’t picky, did everything via text and in writing. When they charged my credit card 25,000$ instead of the 11,250$ I actually was super calm about it. Accidents happen and I get it the guy was new. Then, they asked me to wire them money because they had refunded me the 25,000$. Technically, the golf cart had not been purchased due to the refund so it couldn’t be shipped from Arizona. So I wired them money 4/3. However, this 25,000 purchase took over a week to drop back in my account (I get it, that’s the banks fault, right?). For all of this, total of 37,250 out of my account and I never received a receipt. Finally, after getting very upset after 5 days of no refund of the original 25,000$ I starting getting upset and the company did provide me with a receipt. When the owner called me, he wasn’t the nicest either. He just kept saying, “there’s nothing we can do, so where can we go from here”. I allowed this to be all out of my account because I was told this would expedite delivery. I also was trying to get a VIN number off of the golf cart hoping to add to my insurance. I never received a reply from my advisor once I made a payment for the golf cart. Finally, I texted my service advisor two weeks later asking about any update on the golf cart 4/21. They told me it wouldn’t be ready for another week or so due to registration issues. They were able to expedite delivery of the registration to 4/23. The night of 4/23 the golf cart broke. Which was my mistake, however I messaged the golf cart company immediately about it. They said the mechanic would be out 4/26, however, no one ever showed up. Finally, he showed up 4/30. And we figured out what part needed to be ordered 5/7. Somehow, either the incorrect part was ordered or shipped. Finally, the golf cart has been fixed as of 5/20, HOWEVER, I knew it was driving funny. Although I paid for an alignment, it wasn’t completed. When I called about it, they said they needed a key. I never was told that, called or texted about it. I am currently typing this as I’m waiting for them to do this alignment, which was scheduled between 10-12. It is now 1 o’clock. During all of this, I’ve had to always reach out to them, they barely reply. I know it sounds silly but as soon as they got my money I don’t feel like a client to them anymore. I feel just like I was used for my money and the rest doesn’t matter. Honestly, I love my golf cart and originally how easy it was to purchase it. I was in contact with both Rowan and Graham. Both of them called/texted/emailed me and were so helpful, friendly and responsive. I drove down to La Jolla to take a look at their inventory, ask my long list of questions and do a test drive. Although, the sale could have been completed without even setting foot in the store.
In a time crunch to get our golf cart before Father's Day, they were able to expedite my order. I purchased a lime green 6 seater lifted golf cart that they had available within two weeks.

We feel we absolutely found the best place to purchase a golf cart in LJGC. I can not imagine having a better experience anywhere else. We ordered a brand new Forrester evolution after an informative run down of the different carts by Rowan. Rowan recommended the evolution and let us test drive one. Due to covid (and completely out of La Jolla golf carts control) the manufactures delayed getting us our golf cart. After a few weeks I started to get impatient and these guys went above and beyond to get us a golf cart! Robert the manager and Rowan came to the rescue and literally gave us his personal golf cart so we didn’t have to wait any longer! This was unbelievable service and made my family so Happy!!! Robert delivered it to my house and spent a long time with my family going over things and teaching us everything we needed to know. He even offered to help me figure out how to park it in my garage.
