Deli-icious — Restaurant in San Diego

I placed an order here mid-dog walk and it was ready about 10 minutes before the proposed time. I don’t know if they are fully dog friendly as they have no indoor seating, but had no problem bringing my small pup inside to pick up/order (and the outdoor is dog friendly!). The owner was SO lovely and had a huge smile on his face! I saw him hand deliver all the orders to make sure everything was perfect for each customer. You don’t see that much anymore in the restaurant industry!

I ordered the buffalo chicken melt and the flavor was AMAZING. It was even still hot 15 minutes later after I got home. The sourdough was a little soggy but that could have been due to it being takeaway. I ended up with half to reheat too so the portions were great.

There is access into this shopping center from the main road and the alley behind. I’m excited to come back and try something else!

Update: this reheated so well in my air fryer/toaster oven! The bread was still crispy the next day even after letting it sit in the cheese/buffalo...

We had lunch there and the sandwiches were great. We had eaten heavy all week on vacation and I just wanted a good sandwich. It was that, with big portions. My husband had the roast beef wrap and loved the sauce. I had the monster and boy was it a monster. Very large and my husband laughed at me for trying to eat this big ol sandwich. But the best part, my husband lost his wallet. We were scheduled to fly out that afternoon. After retracing our steps , we were really hoping that it was left at the resturant, however we were already at the airport. Niki called me back, let me know she had my husband's wallet, and would drop it off at the airport. Talk about customer service. I can not thank this business enough for helping us when we were so far away from home in Alabama. Thx Niki. I never imagined that one day I would write a review for a sandwich place. Sandwiches have never been my thing—I don’t hate them, but I’ve never truly liked them either. After my family visited La Jolla Shores, my son insisted on having sandwiches for lunch. He told us about a place called Deli-icious that he had found.

I randomly ordered a BLT, and to my surprise, it was fantastic! The BLT was nicely wrapped and warm. After just one bite, oh boy—it was amazingly good! The bread was freshly toasted to perfection, the bacon was crispy, and the veggies were so fresh! Everything came together beautifully and melted in my mouth.
