We all had such a wonderful time! The opera was sensational, and the whole environment felt like two great friends who are so talented invited us over and cooked us a great meal. Me being vegetarian, I was accommodated with a nice lovely fresh salad. Opera, approachable, and friendly and very different than going to a big theater stuck with lots of stuff people. This was really friendly and approachable and down to her. I loved it. I love the place because it’s small and like someone’s home to some degree, and the outdoor patio was covered in on the corner. I didn’t sit on the patio, but I would love to go back and have one of their fabulous pastries, and a cup of coffee soon. I’d say be on the lookout for another opera event because there aren’t many spaces and I’m sure they go fast. It was well worth it and it wasn’t anywhere near the cost of opera tickets in a big theater or music venue. Our two hosts, the Devo and the diva are such genuine, loving people. They were so welcoming and so friendly and kind and we felt like we knew them forever. There is parking a couple of alleys down in the garage. That was a really great feature too. Only suggestion would be that for those who wish to use their cell phones, that they go stand in the back and do that without obstructing the view of others. It was so distracting that people these days cannot just be in the moment and enjoy an event. How can you really , breathe in and feel the force of the opera while you’re recording it on your phone with your hand up in the air blocking the view of everyone else? So my suggestion would be that you disallow this practice and unless people are willing to go stand in the back out of everyone else’s way. Thanks so much, and I’m sure we will see more of our beautiful hosts soon!

We were looking for a nice place to have some coffee and dessert with friends, so I chose this place. What first caught my eye was the unique design and the high rating. To be honest, I really liked it. The interior is full of interesting elements and cozy vibes — lots of books, creative decor, and thoughtful details. Overall, the atmosphere was truly charming. The service was lovely. The girl who helped us was very attentive — she asked about our drink preferences (whether we like it sweet or not), explained the desserts, and even checked in later to see if we liked everything. She mentioned they’re using a new matcha powder, so she was curious about my thoughts. That made the experience feel more personal and welcoming. The desserts were delicious. We had a cheesecake and another one with pistachios (I can’t remember the name), and both were genuinely tasty. I had an iced matcha latte and really enjoyed it. My friends had coffee — it was okay. I wouldn’t say it was exceptional or super memorable, but it was okay. Overall, I left with a very positive impression. Maybe I would’ve liked the coffee to be a bit better, but compared to many other places, I was still satisfied. I’d be happy to come back again. And special thanks to the girl who served us — she was wonderful🩷🫶

When I learned a new European-style Cafe had opened in my little area of town, I reserved the afternoon to go pay it a visit. Divo Diva, located in the heart of Hillcrest, is exactly what the traveler in me so needs at this time. As soon as I crossed the threshold of the Cafe, I was immediately greeted by the person behind the counter, where I ordered a slice of Frutti di Bosco and a mocha. I took a seat inside but closest to the outdoor patio so I could watch all the beautiful people pass me by on this glorious afternoon. It wasn't long before I was greeted by Victoria Robertson, one of the co-owners of Divo Diva, where we sat and chatted about music and her new business venture. If you've never heard Victoria sing, well, she has one of the loveliest voices in opera. Divo Diva is located at 3650 Fifth Avenue #104 in San Diego. It truly is a delightful and enchanting place to enjoy a delicious slice of Frutti di Bosco, mocha and whatever else suits your palate desiring a taste of Europe. Bon Appétit!

The restaurant is very cute and very relaxed calm atmosphere which I love. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Where I have the issue was the misleading of the amount of food you get in the croissant sandwich. I’m aware that not all places make them the same. I paid $30 for two croissant sandwiches prior to purchasing I asked how much food came in them and how big they were. When the girl working informed me it was a good amount of food and showed me the size of the croissant I got excited so we got two one for me one for my friend. The prep was really fast and we got our food quickly which I appreciate however the food inside was maybe an egg on one and one slice of ham on the other sandwich. There was basically nothing in them which is the opposite of what the girl told me. The man working offered to give me a slice of cheese extra…. A slice of cheese?? I would have preferred they be honest about how much food you’re actually getting. Wouldn’t have come here if I knew that I was paying $30 for essentially just...
