I recently visited a restaurant that presented concerning hygiene and customer service issues. Upon entering with my pregnant wife and our 4-year-old daughter, we were initially denied access to the restroom facilities prior to placing an order. This decision was eventually reversed following comments from other patrons.
However, we encountered unacceptable conditions in the restroom. The toilet paper was soaked, either with water or urine, and the staff refused to provide a replacement. Moreover, they inappropriately suggested that my wife should smell the wet toilet paper roll to assess it.
We requested the manager’s contact information to address these issues, but the staff declined to provide this. Consequently, we contacted customer support directly to lodge a complaint. Given the nature of this experience, we chose not to dine at this establishment due to concerns over potential food contamination.
This incident raises serious questions about the restaurant’s adherence to basic hygiene standards and customer service practices, suggesting a need for an investigation into...
Read moreThis little El Pollo Loco establishment is located right next to a big AT&T retail store. When we got there at around 1pm, the restaurant didn't have any customer there. Since we were all senior, we should be getting the 10% senior discount. At the time the server person ringing up our bill, he only gave us 10% discount on one order so we asked him why, then he told us that they only give discount if we pay for our food individually and not collectively! We were just told of this fact when we were paying for our order. He could have just told us before we were paying our bill so that led me to believe that he purposely misleading us into believing that we can pay collectively and still be able to get the 10% discount for all 4 of us seniors. Needless to say, we're never going to be in this establishment again. The food in this restaurant were just so so. The burrito wrap skin was dry and the ingredients inside were dry also. Others in the party were not impressed with the food either. All in all, we weren't too happy with our food nor our experiences at this...
Read moreAs someone who has been one of El Pollo Locos most loyal customers I’ve been going to El Pollo Loco since 1990 averaging at least 100 to 150 visits a year I must say this restaurant is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a El Pollo Loco. You literally have to beg to get a napkin at this restaurant. They close the drink taps with no access to the public and block the view of the actual food preparation so they can reduce the amount of chicken they put on their salads and other items.
When I asked for some pepper condiments, they asked how many do you want one or two? The employees at this location have obviously been trained to essentially strangle every single thing out of this restaurant.
All I can say to the management and ownership of this particular location is you need to change your business model or you will ultimately fail.
I will never go back to this location. an absolutely horrible...
