El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in San Diego

When I visited El Pollo Loco, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. As I looked around, I noticed that the facility was clean and well-maintained, which made me feel even more comfortable. I felt like I was in good hands, and that the staff truly cared about providing a high-quality dining experience. I ended up ordering the flame-grilled chicken, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally delicious. What really impressed me, though, was the personal touch that the staff put into each dish. The good: The chicken - mmmm. Nothing special but it was nice and tender. This alone I'd give a 4 or 5. The corn side - It just tastes like it's straight from the can with just the barest hint of some spice but I love sweet corn

The bad: Door dash online ordering - our family order was supposed to come with 3 flour tortillas and 2 corn tortillas but we did not receive a single tortilla. I'm honestly not sure who's at fault here though. Pico de gallo - it tasted like not quite ripe chopped tomatoes and that's it. No salt, no lime, no nothing else! Really I was there for 45 minutes and they could not take my order because of something that they messed up so the manager just keep ignoring me and working around without serving the problem so the employee says we’ll just give it to her it’s not that much and she said no let me check I’ll be back well. I waited another 10 minutes. She kept ignoring me, so I have to leave. Don’t ever come back here, that manager needs to be fired.
