We were able to sample their sliders beef or chicken wait there's more! Plus two samples of their beers. We were a little famished when we arrived so we ordered a few more items to try off the menu as well. The interior is fun and eclectic. There is a great outdoor seating area pet friendly I might add. And a large game arcade area for the kids but mainly for us adult kids. Upon arriving, scan the QR code for an electronic menu and then waddle your way up to the window to order. They will give you a buzzer to notify you when the food is ready. The chicken sliders taste just like a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich. Its so crazy how they got the chicken to taste so similar! Except it's on a delicious Hawaiian roll with cucumber slices and shredded pickled carrots. Very good I would recommend the chicks sliders. Also had their fish and chips. They did NOT skimp on the fish or chips! The fish was battered nicely and deep fried to perfection. A little extra salt on there but it was still mighty tasty. I had a craving for a salad, and the grilled ahi salad caught my eye . It had shredded lettuce and veggies with a sesame soy dressing. More dressing than I would prefer but it had great flavor. Really liked the crust on the seared ahi tuna. It was cooked very well and the tuna was fresh. Street parking is available, we got lucky and found one in back. Overall great place to grab drinks and food!

This spot had been on our list for a while, and we’re so glad we finally made it out to watch a Padres game! It’s a great family-friendly dive bar with a laid-back, lively vibe. There were multiple TVs throughout the bar and lots of Padres fans cheering alongside us, which made it even more fun. The food was great, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for. On top of that, they have a small arcade tucked away in the back, which was a hit with the kids... and with us! (Of course, we couldn’t resist playing a few games—my personal favorite was the duck claw machine, and we even walked away with two new ducks for our collection!) The service was excellent too. You order food and drinks at the counter, get a number for your table, and they bring everything out to you. After that, you can order another round directly from a server if you want, just make sure to close out your tab either with the server or back at the counter before you leave. Bonus: They have a parking lot in the back, which is a huge plus since parking can be tricky in this area. If you're looking for a casual, fun spot to catch a game, grab some food, and enjoy a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Really not impressed with the staff behind the bar & their attentiveness. The bar was not that busy & had to flag someone down to get a drink & menu. Finally ordered & food came out quick & was good. I asked to cash out & they use these machines so I was never given a receipt to look over before paying, they just charge your credit card which asks for your tip on this machine as well. So after processing payment, I selected print receipt. Meanwhile the girl that gave me the machine walked away so after a few minutes & not returning, I had to flag down someone else to ask where my receipt was. Upon review of my receipt & after paying & tipping, I noticed I was overcharged. I couldn't find anyone to ask about this so I just left. It wasn't much, but you really need to give customers their bill before asking them to pay for their bill! On a positive note, the music was good that was being played....

Usually, I have had a pretty ok experience there, with some odd things that have happened there, but never mentioning it & keeping it to myself. HOWEVER, tonight not so much. I approached the counter to order, and found the girl taking my order wasn't like I experienced before, leaving me confused. I hoped I would've been intervened to get the "service" I had experienced before, but no. When letting the other staff Shannon know she wasn't very good, Staff person Shannon gaslit, and railroaded me accusing me of enormous lies & with an unwelcoming attitude & mouthful of harsh lies about myself as a customer. This Shannon person ACCUSED me, THAT I "don't tip, don't order food", and just "sit for hours" that I'm "not taking care of them." I literally felt BULLIED. I just couldn't get a word in edgewise. Shannon ACCUSED me for wanting "Special treatment" when I asked for my food to be cooked the way I wanted it. I have MEDICAL CONDITIONS that warrant me to ask for my food in a specific manner. I'm sorry to learn tonight, they don't care. Shannon proceeded to tell me these twisted lies about myself while "constantly touching" my paid for Food, leaving me highly upset and sickened to now eat. She stated to me "everyone here feels that way about you." Shannon continued to insult me, by telling continuing lies and causing me to feel very, very uncomfortable to then eat my food. After I ate some, and set aside what I could not eat, Shannon came over, grabbed my uneaten portion with her hands, instead of asking me if I was done. When I strongly objected to her continued Harassment and Bad Service, she stated "Oh, I saw the DIRTY napkins, so I took it." This girl Shannon is awful. She never bothered to ask me anything, check facts, or listen at all, ONLY there to BERATE, HARASS & GASLIGHT MYSELF, AND MAKE SURE I FELT UNWELCOME AND UNCOMFORTABLE. I know NOW, I have NO VALUE as a Customer, unless it comes with generous monetary tipping. My experience tonight caused great DISTRESS physically & mentally & told me I was just scammed. I additionally was told by Shannon, that all the Staff is great, but I am the problem, and they all feel that way about myself. She stated..."This is family owned and not Corporate" whatever that means. That must be why it is okay that all the employees are allowed to drink alcohol while working. Additionally, I never understood why children & underage minors are allowed in this bar. I told Shannon that I would just contact the Owner and Shannon stated in response "Perfect Perfect." As I was raising my voice due to the noise levels, I apologized to Shannon, and stated "I'm not Yelling, the music is so loud." Shannon's response was "You SHOULD be sorry!" Yeah, I'm sorry...

I ordered mine to go, through Toast. Easy-peasy. I got the steak sandwich, garlic fries, and coleslaw. Here is my review:

Service: 6* The workers there are wonderful. Smiling, positive, and helping every customer (even the dog) with a smile. I will go back because when you are on a business trip, a sincere smile is often hard to come by.

The steak sandwich: the beef was delicious just by itself. Unfortunately, that wasn’t how it was served. Next time I’ll get back the meat (and cheese if you like), and the onions. Get the sauces on the side so you can use it as a compliment for the yummy steak and the solid, and does not fall apart roll. Garlic fries: 5*…pay the $1.95 and upgrade to garlic fries. Just plan on being alone for 24 hours or so thereafter. Definitely not date food, unless she likes them too, b because she is definitely marriage material. Cole Slaw (side, $2.95). Another item I am confused about. The slaw was cold and crisp…exactly what I love about good slaw. But they use horseradish in their dressing, which, for my taste, ruins the dish. But that’s me, not you. If you like slaw and you like (or have never tried) horseradish, then go for it.

Definitely getting another visit on this trip because it’s only a few blocks from my hotel, the value is there (the sandwich was only $12.50), and I want to hang out in a place with friendly and nice people.

PS. Don’t forget the tip. Even if you’re not staying, there is still a lot involved in making your meal and getting it ready to go (the nice person who brought me my bag even put extra napkins in just in case...
