"In N Out is one of the best fast food restaurants ever. Their success lies in their hamburgers. The hamburger comes with onions (they always ask you if you want it), lettuce, and tomato with their In N Out's spread (I feel like it is the 1000 island dressing) on a toasty bun. Number 3 on the menu. Now add another 50 cents and you get a cheese burger, which is number 2 on the menu. And add another 1 dollar or so you get a double double burger (2 patties with 2 cheese), which is number 1 on the menu. And you can customize it to be a 5 by 5 too (I believe that is the max and is a secret menu), but the point is that their hamburger are the only item that they have on their menu (not counting variants mentioned earlier). There is no chicken, no Sirloin meat, sausage, egg, etc... that their competitors have. This is what makes In N Out so special. A simple menu, no confusion on the order (like all the workers have to focus on is cooking that same food items which makes it efficient), it is delicious (everyone who visits California always wanted to come here), and freshly made (since it is always busy)" -nnviekie intro number one. SIDE NOTE: I will come up with more ways to introduce In N Out in the future reviews as I will be visiting other locations in the future. I visited here on July 21, 2017, at around 18:00 with my friend. The line on the inside is not as long as the drive through. The drive through line circles the whole store with about 12-15 cars waiting for food. Parking in this lot used to be easy to find that is until they built a H-Mart about a couple of years ago. We were lucky to find a parking, but be warned that many times before I came here that parking is hard to find and filled with people who can not follow a simple direction of one way arrow. Anyways, there was only 2 people at the time waiting in line, but tables were nearly full. We were able to find a table for 4 and one for the two of us. We did not want to be that person who takes a table for 4 when it can be used for other people. My friend ordered a hamburger with onions and fries while I ordered a double double with both types of onions (grilled and regular onion). We had 2 water cups. The total was about $8, very cheap. They started using chips on their card reader which shows you how long since I last been eating here. The wait was about 10 minutes or so, but we did not mind as it was a busy night. After we got our food order, I started to eat it quick as I was hungry. The meat is delicious and the buns are crunchy. The veggies are fresh. That is something I like with In N Out. It is that distinct fresh taste and toasty bun that makes many In N Out so good. This hits the spot. I also put on spread (you can request the package) on the fries. I also like their chili although I forgot to request it. And I forgot to request my burger to come with extra veggies. The service here was excellent. The bathroom was clean. I believe this is one of the busiest in San Diego, at least in Central San Diego as Mira Mesa is conveniently located next to the 15 freeway, Edwards movie theaters, SD Miramar College, and a main stop for MTS bus system. TL;DR: In N Out is one of the best fast foods around and this location is no exception. The only -1 star is because parking is so hard (blame it on H-Mart) to find if you want to sit down and eat. Also, the drive thru experience: sometimes there is no place to wait for it since it is located on the oncoming traffic of Mira Mesa Blvd side and some people block the way.

In-N-Out Burger is a popular West Coast fast food chain known for its fresh ingredients and simple menu. I recently had the opportunity to try it for the first time, and while I was overall satisfied, there were a few things that kept me from being blown away. I ordered a Double-Double burger with. The burger was good, but it wasn't anything special, the bun was a bit dry. The fries were also a bit disappointing. The service at In-N-Out was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient, and my food was ready quickly. I also appreciated the fact that In-N-Out has a clean and well-maintained dining area. Overall, I thought In-N-Out was an okay fast food restaurant. The food was decent, but it wasn't anything that I would go out of my way to get again. However, I would recommend In-N-Out to anyone looking for a quick and inexpensive meal. Here is a more detailed breakdown of my experience: Food: 2/5 stars Service: 5/5 stars Ambiance: 4/5 stars Would I visit again? Maybe, but not anytime soon. There are other fast food restaurants that I prefer.

Decided to finally try In-N-Out during my visit to the area to see if it lived up to the hype that you see for it on the internet. Long story short: no it did not. The food was not terrible, but it was incredibly average. The burger tasted like any run of the mill fast food burger, with your choice of fixings and American cheese. The animal style fries were nothing to write home about either. Just fries with American cheese, grilled onions, and big mac sauce. The customer service was great though, and I was served quickly. Would I come here over similar chains? No. But if you’re not from the area, its a cool place to visit for the novelty of it.

You know what I could sit here and cry about my burger being a little over cooked as well as the french fries but I wasn't born with a silver spoon up my A$! So trust me I've eaten worst this was still good I just didn't leave with that normal feeling I usually do so with that being said I am not disappointed whatsoever the staff which majority is probably my daughter's age treated me very well and that goes for every in & out in San Diego county I want to let you know that each and every one of you is doing a fantastic job and I hope the beautiful owner of the franchise gives each of you a brand new car jkjkjk only kidding I know she got that ophra money but she ain't trying to do all that but a little $100 dollar bonus won't hurt her pockets either but anyways back to my review me being a small business owner I know that the employees work ethic is definitely what's going to keep your business thriving so it doesn't matter how many disgruntled burned patty eating customers leave you a negative review Buaahahahaha jkjkj again no but seriously you guys are young hard workers and I know sometimes you all dread the thought of having to start your shift but it doesn't matter what matters is you guys forget about your problems and go in and handle it and that's tough because in & out is never slow so keep up the good work I appreciate you guys for feeding me and if I grow my company and end up with a franchise that will be the first location I stop at with my ophra money and give you guys each $100...

Food is still good with the exceptionof the fries that went cold not even a minute after getting them. Gave my rating based on a bad experience, ordered my food and get to the window to pay in cash and as I was handed my change I was told that they were out of dimes, nickles and pennies. I got one quarter back and he kept my 13 cents and said sorry about that, I gave a funny look and before I could say anything he walked away, sure its only 13 cents but I was upset. So I get up to the next window and tell the lady I kinda feel robbed, she explained that there is a national shortage and they only have quarters, I told her that I have a LOT of change in my car and that I would sell them to them if they'd like as she was handing me my food, she laughed and while still chuckling said she would ask her manager and then proceeded to close the window and make the next drink in line, she didn't move so that was my que that I had already been dismissed! 1) I was never asked if I had 12 cents to make the quarter, which I did but everyone wanted to turn away. 2) makes one wonder just how much extra money the company is pocketing by doing this because surely I can not be the only one! 3) if this is the way you want to run a business that is a shame and I will NEVER EVER visit an In-n-out burger place ever again nor should anyone else! What happened was theft!! I wish I could give a -5 star review!! SHAME!...
