SERIOUSLY THE BEST FOOD ON THE BEACH!! Everyone loves Kojack’s! Greek food and more. Gyros, fish, hamburgers, chicken (tenders and grilled), pizza, falafel, souvlaki, onion rings, etc. Options for everyone!

The owner Mike and his family are so great! We always feel like we’re coming home when we eat here. Smiling faces, fun stories, and delicious food! Fun beach vibe and welcoming atmosphere. Everything is fabulous.

TIP— Try the lamb gyro…so delicious! Or the gyro plate! The chicken is also very flavorful! Tasty burgers! Their onion rings are so good! They make delicious baklava for dessert! Not soggy like some.

TIP — if it’s hard to find parking across the street at Belmont Park (ugh it’s awful and tight), the just drive east to where the pink & blue playground is…usually plenty of spots there! “Mission Beach Parking” or “Mariners...

I happened upon this place 5 years ago during a trip to San Diego. The salmon burger was delicious and the service was spot on! I've recommended tbis place dozens of times in the past 5 years. I recently took a trip to L.A. and drove all the way to San Diego JUST for the Kojack experience. The service was AWFUL!! One server was nice and then left...one server never got up even though it became quite crowded and the last server was just flat out rude! The food had changed and what was once a huge piece of delicious Salmon was now shriveled and dry. We were over charged and they refused to fix our bill when we pointed it out to them. The kids meals were ovet cooked frozen chicken nuggets. We did not feel welcomed and wasted a drive to San Diego. I will never go back and will apologize to everyone I ever recommended...

Kojack's has been around for even longer than I have been born. It was always my go-to whenever I visit Mission Beach. My Dad and I frequently got the Philly Cheesesteak or Gyro sandwiches and they never disappoint. Now that I am in the Navy, I definitely make time to stop here due to my loyalty and love for these sandwiches that has not changed over the decades, and will continue to do so each time I am back in town, because these guys working here never disappoint. They always have good attitudes, and if you frequent the restaurant enough, they just may recognize you even if it's been a long while.
